Hi All
Got the RV out of storage today and getting ready for summer camping. One of the items I want to do this year is to add an accumulator tank to the water system. I have a 2021 Isata 3 FW and the best place to mount the accumulator is under the bathroom sink. When looking over the...
On a recent camping trip, I ran over a chunk of truck tire rubber. It hit the drain on my fresh water tank and broke it loose- just barely hanging on. Can this be repaired or do I have to replace the tank? 2020 Wolf Pup16FQ. 23 gallon tank, I believe.
Also, I found a chunk of the rubber lodged...
Can a water tank sensor go bad? I leveled my rv then filled my water tank at the house and once it came out the overflow drain I closed the valve and stopped filling. My sensor reads 2/3 full but if it is coming out the overflow I assume it's full. Is that a fair assumption?
Also when I...
I have a 2018 Roo 233S. I connected a hose to my black tank flush/clean-out and fresh water started leaking (raining) down. I could not see the connection due to the undercarriage insulation. Has anyone experienced this issue? Does anyone how how the black tank flush is piped to the black tank...
We have a 2023 XLR Nitro 407. The spec/capacity sheet indicates a 60 gallon grey water capacity and a 40 gallon black water capacity. I have filled each using a valve meter, shower fills at 20 gallons and black fills at 21 gallons, water literally coming back thru toilet. I have removed...
Hello Everyone-
First time posting. We have a Forest River Forester 3051S.
The fresh water tank works just fine.
The Black and Gray tanks always show empty.
I have used a water meter to fill them both to 39 gallons and our Lippert One Control Panel shows both tanks empty.
Thoughts?
Nate
Hello fellow RV'ers.
I just purchased a new Della Terra 200Rd that is sending all the waste water to the black tank and none to the gray. I am hooked up to a refuse station and could let the gray valve stay open but its all going to the black tank and I cant go that route for black drain...
I recently purchased a portable waste tank for my ROO 233S but realized the inlet for the tank is higher than the outlet of the Roo. I was hoping someone could provide a recommendation for a tank that is compatible with my Roo.
Hey guys. Looking for some advice. I recently bought a used Wildwood 27DBK and am a little confused about the holding tanks.
I know the unit has 1 grey and 1 black tank (plus fresh) and the dump valve handles for both are at the rear off-side by the sewer connection.
Problem is, having...
So my husband and I bought our 5th wheel used, in 2021. It is a 2001 cedar creek. We've never really had any issues up until now. A few days ago we noticed the water backing up into the shower and bathroom sink. We figured the tank was full, so I opened the valve and let it drain. Nothing...
Hi everyone, my wife and I got a used Coachman Catalina Legacy last fall. We winterized it without a problem. We keep the unit at a permanent site all year round with full hookups so we don't use the freshwater tank.
My question is, this spring when I de-winterize, do I need to do anything...
2021 Wildwood X-lite 240BHXL
New TT and had the dealer winterize it for me. So now I'm getting ready to take the TT out of hibernation and cant find the bypass valve.
I opened all the access panels in and outside and cant find it.
Help!
Good afternoon. I have owned my 2007 FR 315SE class A for about 5 years. We have traveled to may destinations. I am the second owner.
I am wondering now if I am flushing my black tank the wrong way. But, never have experienced any problems.
When we empty the grey and black tanks, I always...
Thanks for the ad. I have a 2014 Work and Play 16UL and am in need of a new fresh water tank. The existing tank is beyond repair. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Hello All,
I’m new to the forum but have been searching for tips and tricks and figured I’d pass along my findings with my tank monitoring system. I have a 1 year old trade in 2022 APEX 284BHSS, first camper to me and have only yard camped and one state park trip so far. I noticed that the...
I have a 2018 Cedar Creek 5th wheel. I can get the the hot water heater to come in when I am using the fresh water tank with the pump. Works if connected to city water. I have turned the water valves in the coach every way I can think of. Any suggestions?
Last week we pulled in after dark in the pouring rain.
Yep, broke rule one, never drive after dark!
Forgot to instal the water pressure regulator. Mistake#2. Been here several times.
Got distracted while filling. Mistake #3.
Wife reported the floor of the rv had risen.
Water...

I have used my black tank flush system often since I have owned my 2021 Vibe. I have always had a flow meter in the black flush line as I would uses it to add 4/5 gallons of water into the emptied tank after dumping/flushing. I have had to replace the Back Flow preventer...
I own a 2020 Columbus 5th wheel with my first on demand tankless water heater. Typically, the system must sense significant water flow to turn on. Once on, you have unlimited hot water until you stop the flow by shutting off the hot water. But due to the design, you always end up with a large...
Hi folks. I am new to this forum. Wondering if anyone has a source for a replacement water tank for a 2011 25ULA. Cannot find anything on the web. This is a weird shaped tank. From the side, it is somewhat "T" shaped with the vertical part of the 'T' hanging down between the 2 axles. Will try to...
Just picked up a 2017 Coachmen Freelander 26 Class C this winter. Used 1st time past week in NC. Everything was great until waking up this morning with water everywhere. On city water , both black and gray tank were FULL! Sink overflowed and toilet full to top. Went to bed with both tanks...
I wanted to know if there is one or 2 tanks? If there is 2 tanks I want to empty out the tank for the toys with lever for pumping. Anyone know about this or know where to find out?
My Vibe has these plus a high output furnace.
How good do these work? I can't find any info about the tank heaters except for a switch to turn them on and off.
Will they keep my pipes from freezing if the temperature gets down to the low 20's? I will have the furnace running and the water...
