Hi All............
I've got a 2014 Rockwood Roo 23IKSS that I've had for about a year. I found leaks in the shower enclosure, so I'm gutting the bathroom to make it right.
I would like to put a tankless water heater in it as part of that work, but knowing so little about the existing Roo...
I'm guessing I missed blowing the black tank flush line out last fall, cuz when I tried it today we had an "excess amount" of water I the cupboard. Fortunately it was only on for a few seconds, before I saw it and shut it off. After cleaning up the water mess. I pulled the anti-siphon/check...
Hi all. Earlier this year we sold our older toy hauler and we recently picked up a 2021 Salem cruise lite T263BHXL. A lot more cozy than the toy hauler.
I have a question. I searched the forums but can’t find an answer. I’m not really sure the sizes of my holding tanks and I can’t find any...
Hello, we have a Arctic Wolf 3660 suite (2021). I need to replace both grey and black 3" holding tank valves. I've noticed that both valves are connected in between the tanks, making it very difficult to remove the valve.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Has anyone else done this...
Hello Everyone,
I'm new to the forum and have a question that I hope someone has an answer or fix. I have a 2021 FR Forester. I have never been able to fill my fresh water tank more than 1/3. I have used the hose attachment with the skinny tube on it, as well as a long hose and put about 17"...
We are the proud owners of a 2017 Dynamax 5-Series Isata 36DS. We have two issues. First, neither the black or gray tank will indicate a level above one third full. I think that fixing this issue is well within my skill level but I am unable to get to the sensors on the tanks - which leads to...
I just bought a 2022 Rockwood Ultra-Lite and right now I am keeping it at a friends place in the mountains to which I go stay at on the weekends. I just had it de-winterized but before then I've just been using a portable toilet until I could get water in it. I basically am only using it for...
Just purchased a 2021 r pod 196 with 6 prior uses. Hooked to city water with pressure regulator.
During night, freshwater tank filled up and overflowed into interior of rv. City water continues to fill fresh tank no matter what I do. When I attempted to run off fresh tank deliberately, toilet...
Bought the 21 gal Camco Rhino Tote Tank for our 2018 rPod 190. I think it'll be ok to transport it on the front of the TT on top of the battery box, behind the propane tank cover, strapped in with rachet straps. Anyone see a problem with this? Other suggestions (no ladder on my TT and TV is a...
Looking for a way to find how the silverback is plumbed without haveing to drop the belly pan and remove the insolation just to see how they plumbed 2grey tanks and 1 black tank. Also how they are vented and the location or identification of the 2 vents pipes on the roof. Have read that...
Hello. New owner of used 2021 FR Salem 24rxlx.
Fired up hot water tank Friday at 7pm. Learned hot water is almost scalding by the way. Suburban gas only 6 gal hot water tank.
At 7 am next morning CO detector went off. Reset it and it went off again. Cleared everyone out. Aired rv out...
We have a BRAND NEW 2022 Forsterer, we plan on using it this summer. We picked it up in Jan. stored it. This weekend we de-winterized and sanitized. When we went to empty the black tank, the value was/ still is stuck. How the heck does this happen on a BRAND NEW never been used before RV...
Wondering what the collective thinking is about the water tank storage level between outings (not talking about winterizing).
Do you park/store it empty (drain it) or fill it full or at leave whatever % if it will be just a week or two or three between trips, then fill before next trip...
I was watching some random RV videos and one guy recommended getting a flow meter to show how full your freshwater tank was when filling it, so it didn’t overflow? But he didn’t say why.
I’ve always just filled my tank until it overflowed. Why would I not do that?
My last tank was 60 gallons...
So I filled my fresh water tank 3/4 and that registered perfect on the One Control display (only running 12V system). I turned on my water pump and began running faucets to flush the system (not sanitize). When the fresh tank read about 1/4 my grey tank still read empty. I also noticed that...
Getting back into camping and have a question on the black tank. We have a 2022 Sabre 36BHQ. We're doing a long weekend in a few weeks and not sure when we'll use it again. My question is on the black tank. Should I fill it with some water first before I start sending goodies down there? There...
Forester 3051s has a built in black tank sprayer.
The other dain after a week of camping I emptied my black and grey tanks with no problems. Then I hooked up the water line to the built in black tank sprayer. Turn on the water and water started pouring down the outside of the black water drain...
First 600 miles from home and our fresh water tank is bulging down so much it has pulled a section of underbelly covering down about 2 inches. Noticed it this morning when I went out to dumb the black.
Might as well have some coffee and worry about it later this morning. Ahhhh, the fun of...
I was getting ready to sanitize my tank yesterday when the valve broke. I found a replacement on Amazon but was wondering if it comes with a gasket or some type of sealant, or maybe it doesnt need one?. Anyone replace this? Thanks
We just got the new XLR Nitro & live in Colorado. I know it's not a 4 season trailer & don't intend to use it as such, but we are in Colorado. We've had a weather forecast of high of 80 & 2" of snow. As it turns out the weatherman wasn't smoking the good stuff, he was on his A game. That was a...
I forgot to empty the windshield washer tank when I winterized my 2013 Encounter. I have spent much time looking for a replacement but no luck so far. I have found a lot of tanks on line but no direct replacement.
Anybody have any ideas how to get a replacement?
Got my new replacement water tank in! The reason I'm replacing is that the existing tank flexes and bows (as seen in the photo) significantly when filled with water.
I almost exclusively boondock with my travel trailer. When I say boondock I mean off grid, isolated camping away from people. As...
I'm putting a tankless water heater in my wildwood. My only question is. I have an outlet under my bed as well as the propane hook up. My question is how do I hook up the electric if there is no cord on the heater and really no way to hard wire it in.
I didn't like how Forest River didn't bother to run a vent hose up to the outside vent on our 2023 Wolf Pup 14CC. They just left the elbow on the fresh water tank vent pointing down. Last time out last season (second trip in our new camper) we found out that not only did it overflow from...
