Hello all, we just purchased a 21 Riverstone 37mre and had it delivered Thursday. The dealer was supposed to dewinterize it, among other things, and failed on all accounts. Any help on dewinterizing the aquago would be greatly appreciated.
Ive spent a bunch of time today looking online and youtube and the forums and cant figure out the pumps and bypasses for my trailer.
If you own a 19fbs or 20fbs and have dewinterized I could use some help.
Videos on youtube mention a bypass for the water pump and heater connections. I cant...
Water Pump Concern after De-Winterizing
Hello all. I've completed some research on my issue but I haven't been able to resolve it yet.
Had my G20BHS de-winterized today. When I got it back home, I hooked it up to city water and flushed a bunch more water through the pipes. Then I filled the...
Bought coachmen apex ultralight rv which came with the victron energy PWM light charge controller in Oct 2021. My solar panel is 100W system. Observed flashing LED indicating charging. Periodically checked through the winter. Then, sometime in Jan-Feb, it stopped charging, and I was presented...
Ok, this is driving me nuts: What is the proper procedure to get the stock water pump to suck antifreeze out of the dang bottle? I have tried everything from filling the strainer, prefilling the hose that goes in the jug, even made a cap for the antifreeze bottle that lets me pour a bottle right...
2022 Forest River Wildwood - 273QBXL - Will we be okay? I drained the water heater and blew the water lines out with air afterward, thinking that it would be an outside possibility that temps would drop below freezing.
I have heard two different opinions on flushing the anti-freeze from the water system to de-winterize ...
Do you use the fresh water system using the water pump or just hook up to city water and flush?
First time dewinterizing my Rockwood A122S and cannot find this answer. When flushing out the faucets do I leave the filter out of the cannister still until water is clean and then reinstall the filter? And should I flush out the antifreeze out of the cannister just by turning the faucet on or...
Using water pump to pull from city water in winterization mode?
2019 Riverstone 39RKFB
Our issue currently is that our truma aquago water heater holding tank busted, but we live in our rig full time so until the water heater is fixed/replaced we still need to use water even if it's only cold...
I get an e-newsletter from Go RVing Canada. The latest issue has an article on winter RVing. Which got me wondering whether there is anything available in Eastern Canada. Doing my best googling, I can find reference to winter camping in Alberta and BC but no other results.
I have friends who...
I have a 2021 rockwood signature 8288sb. Have fancy panel outside with switches with one saying winterize. I have a hisend resendential refrigerator with ice make and washer hookups I do not use. I am trying to find some one with a like unit that has gone through the steps and can give me...
Hey Everyone,
I artistically hand crafted the worlds finest video of what I thought was the easiest way to winterize the pipes in our Sandstorm using just The indoor shower hose or the outdoor shower hose.
Just wanted to share this information with all my fellow RVers...
It occurs to me that when I winterized my trailer, I neglected to run antifreeze through the black tank flush line (though might be a challenge to get it in there). I got the rest of the system liberally with -100* RV antifreeze, but completely forgot that I flushed the black tank (really...
I'm in the middle of de-winterizing our 2020 Coachmen Mirada 32SS, but for some reason I can't get the fresh water tank to fill or accept any water. It feels like there's some kind of blockage, because I can't feel any water flowing through the input hose.
Am I missing anything obvious...
Hi ya, I have a new 2022 HS-8801. It did not come with a tank heater. Ironically there is a "knockout" place for a switch on the control panel. However according to Forest River this Truck Camper does not have the option to add or include when ordering. I live in Colorado and camp everywhere...
Looking out my window at my covered TT in the driveway and was wondering how often do others check the inside of their campers while in storage.
Ours was at the dealer all last winter so I couldn't get to it if I wanted to. Now that we have it; My wife insists that "I not Us" check it each...
I just got word that the propane pressure regulator on my camper is the subject of a recall. Since this poses a fire danger should the regulator fail and the fact that I've got an early Spring trip planned, I can't put this off. I've now got to uncover my camper, install a battery and haul it...
Some people never know the crystalline beauty of a winter's morning viewed from their camper...
The camper was plenty warm and comfortable, despite being 19 degrees that night.

I have to take my E21 in to Camping World to have the refrigerator replaced (died, under warranty). Since I am in Illinois, overnight temperatures will get down to single digits Fahrenheit this time of year. Hopefully it's only there for a week but it could stretch for a couple of weeks. I...
When the weather turn bad I put my rig in the ranch shop and winterize it, however I still like to camp up there. I have folks say that is not real winter camping and I remind them there is no heat no facilitates and the water is off. So its winter camping without the snow go outside for #1...
I’m so glad to see those who are traveling throughout the winter as I have the winter time blues missing being able to plan a quick trip to some local spot for the weekend. We go to visit Georgette every now and then to let her know we still care. Anyone else missing your second home during the...
We are new to travel trailers... We just got our Wolf Pup last month and went on 2 trips. We live in south-central Texas. Outside of the rare winter storm of 2021, we do not have lots of snow and ice. Do we still have to winterize our travel trailer? We want to get out to another State Park as...
I live in Wisconsin. Today's temp is 9 degrees F. My camper is currently winterized. I am leaving for Florida at the end of the month. When I arrive out of the snow belt, I would like to dewinterize. Is this something that can be done at the campsite (considering illegal gray water dumping...
