Hi folks,
So our first time winterizing our 2019 Roo, so we paid a guy to help us learn how to do it. Ran into a problem that the guy couldn't solve, hoping for some insight from this great community. When he was running the antifreeze through the inlet valve, found that antifreeze ended up in...
Hi, I'm a newbie full time RVer. I have the 2020 Crossroads Zinger 33ft. It has an Extreme Weather Package.
1. What all does that entail?
2. How do I prevent my pipes and tanks from freezing this winter without having the furnace on all the time? (I went through propane VERY quickly this week)...
Is it best to leave residential refrigerator going during winter storage? Or should I disconnect at circuit breaker? Basically, will it hurt anything to disconnect or help it leave it one. Temps get cold here in SD in winter. Sometimes minus temps. Unit is in shed, plugged into shore power...
Good Evening... This weekend is going to be brutally cold here in Colorado and winterizing is a must. The problem I’m experiencing, is the inability to siphon the antifreeze as instructed in the OM. I drained the fresh water tank with the water pump until no water remained and opened the low...
New to the 2020 MBS sun seeker. Put it away for the winter and was wondering if I should keep it plugged in and run the motor a little through the winter thanks

Just a couple things for first time winterizing people. First, before pumping antifreeze use a 5 gallon bucket and empty anything remaining in waste tanks. This will allow a greater concentration of antifreeze at the waste valves. Second, after done running antifreeze through faucets, toilet...
I was wondering, Is the winterizing port on the rear of my 2806BS only for hooking up the air compressor to blow out the lines? If so (or not) how does one run antifreeze into the lines? I use to take off the water pump feed and hook it up to a gallon of antifreeze.
Thanks in advance
Heya,
I’m going to have a go at winterizing and have a couple of questions.
I have antifreeze but don’t seem to have a hose connection on my water pump, as in the picture. However, I do have two connectors on the ends of the pipes near my hot water heater. Can either of those have a...
Good morning. I have read several of the winterizing threads, but still have a question. I am looking at a 100 p.s.i. pancake style air compressor from Harbor Freight. (On sale for $39.00.) Is that enough pressure to properly winterize my coach? We live in Georgia so we don't get the extreme...
Hello everyone!
We are not done for the year yet but we will be getting a cold snap and well I have to winterize before that hits. Sadly our storage is covered, but no power.
I have been searching and reading here and have questions. There is so much information I am trying to figure out the...
Can I leave my 2018 DX3 37RB plugged in to shore power all winter? I'm hearing conflicting reports. What is the right answer? Is the answer to disconnect batteries using switch, but leave shore power plugged in to trickle charge? Or is it something else?
Hi,
What do we need to do to keep our water tank and pipes (shower, faucets, etc) from freezing? I’m not sure if furnace vents to our tank. We’ll be in electric only site, so will have water tank filled, add antifreeze to black and grey water tanks and the external hoses won’t be connected...
