I thought tongue weight was only the actually weight of the coupler as it sits on the ball? I learned on this forum that you don't even include the WDH head as part of tongue weight.

I purchased a 2014 Forest River Legacy 340kp last Fall. Unfortunately the vehicle has a flat tire in the storage facility and I contacted a tire service provider to come and check/repair the tire. They have asked the weight of the vehicle. I can locate the GVWR and GCWR, but not the approximate...

I have the bunk bed setup on my Wolf Pup 17JG. There is a placard showing a rating of 150lb for the top bunk. Has anyone added additional support that would increase that rating? I would think screwing some wood strips aling the walls underneath the bunk would do it but I'm not familiar with...

Hi all,
Looking at buying my first 5th-wheel and would appreciate the group's help.
My truck's door sticker has a Max Tongue Weight for Conventional Trailer and one for Gooseneck Trailer. The latter is a few hundred pounds less than the Max Payload.
Does the Gooseneck rating include/imply...
As the subject says, can someone tell me how much payload is eaten by having 4WD on an F150? I'm referring to the transmission itself, not the optional FX4 skid plate, etc.
Thanks
I was reading this morning about a Frog going on a four day trip and the list of stuff for the trip. It reminded me of when I sold my Class A how surprised I was at the amounted of unneeded stuff I was packing around. A full set of stainless cook ware, an 8 place setting of stone ware including...

Assuming the truck is capable of handling it, is there anything wrong with having tongue weight on the higher end of things? I know that having too much weight in the back can cause sway; assuming the truck can handle it is there a similar danger in having tongue weight at 15% or even a bit...
