    Bugs on the front cap...

Just thought I would in with the group to see what people use to help keep bugs off the front cap while traveling? Just in my travel I've heard things like, before heading out spray the front cap down with WD40 or Pan cooking spray! Thoughts? Thanks ahead for your replies! LJ

    BUGS!

I was using my fantastic fan on hi with the furthest bunk window unzipped and then noticed an abundant amount of small flying bugs. Not knats, but possibly baby mosquitoes. Anyone have anything like that happen? I know there are nooks and crannies all around the camper so I'm guessing that...

Refrigerator vent and bugs / Mud daubers

We have Mud Daubers where we live and keep our trailer. I have already put the screen protector on the heater outlet and installed screen on the vent pipes for the 2 water tanks. Looking around at other areas I see what looks like a very inviting spot for Daubers and any other bugs to come in...

Slide Out Sealer/Gasket Keep Bugs Out!

I have a 2013 Platnium V-Cross 5th wheel. Last year was our 1st year owning an RV. For me it is also a 1st for camping, lol. Upon closing our RV for the year we noticed a ton of stink bugs behind the slide out (interior). They must of found their way under the seal where the rubber and RV meet...

Advice for keeping bugs and water out of your RV

Ok, This is part rant & part advice  I'm full timing in Florida & I've seriously contemplated getting an ant eater as a pet...A thirsty one One thing I have leaner about RV's is that they are designed & assembled by people who use very little thought. Kinro awning window screens let the bugs in....Silverback 33RL

We own a 2014 Silverback 33RL which we love! One little problem we are having is with the screens on the "crank out" storm or awning style windows by Kinro. The screens do not sit flush on each end against the window frames which leaves a gap large enough for mo-skeetos and flying red ants to...

    Bugs getting in

We recently bought a new 2014 Sandpiper 35ROK fifth wheel. We love everything about it except for one thing. We have only got to camp in it one time since we bought it. We live in southern Ohio and this time of year we have a serious problem with stink bugs and lady beetles. Our camper has...

I have a new 2014 Rockwood and I was trying to use the Black tank rinser and water was pouring into the camper. After investigating, I removed the back flow preventer and guess what, it was filled with stink bugs. Not just one or two, but 10 of those little buggers. They were preventing the...

Removing bugs from the front of your TT

Everyone here probably has already heard of this tip, but I thought I'd share for newbie campers like us. So... we brought our new Shamrock hybrid home from it's maiden voyage. While cleaning it up, we moved to the outside where we began giving it a good washing. Came to the challenge of...

    Bugs in Fresh Water Tank

While stored, the fresh water tank inhaled a lot of insects. I have removed and flushed the fresh water tank but the outlet to the pump/filter has a built-in screen inside the tank that is black with insect remains. I have flushed with water from the outside but the remains remain. I have...

Keeping the bugs out of the rad.

Just a quick question... We have a 2008 Dodge Ram 3500, 4x4, quad cab, (and a Rockwood 8265ws on order) and was wondering what you experienced RV's are doing to keep the bugs out of the radiator? Believe it or not we do have mosquitoes (and other un-identified foreign flying objects) here in...
