We have a 2017 Sunseeker MH. Last fall we camped at a COE campground along the Mississippi. In November we left for the warmth of the Gulf Coast. As soon as the weather warmed up (40+ degrees), we started seeing tons of Chinese Ladybugs and Stink Bugs in our home on wheels. We have a small...

screens for keeping bugs off while driving

I'm planning a trip to Alaska next year in our 2016 Freelander with Ford 350 chassis. I know I'll be encountering lots of bugs. I've read about a product called Rejex which is a polymer substitute for wax, supposedly making the surface of the RV slippery enough so that whatever sticks, washes...

How did they get in? re: stink bugs

We just returned from a camping trip and the campground was full of stink bugs. The campground said it was due to the unusually warm and humid days in October and the recent track of tropical storm Nate (through NC). The stink bugs were outside as well as inside the camper. I can live with...

Hi All, Last May we purchased our Rockwood A214HW. We have had many types of campers and so far this is a great compromise between a pop-up and travel trailer. Stinkbugs sneaking in!

A few stinkbugs managed to work their way into the camper in the corner where the hot water heater is. I am considering some caulking inside of compartments, and adding some screen over vent areas to keep them out. Before I get going, I am wondering if anybody has dealt with this before...

    Windshields and Bugs

A few weeks ago we took our maiden voyage in our new 2016 Georgetown 369XL. The unobstructed view going down the road is spectacular. However, 3/4 of the bug population between PA and VA and back somehow ended up on our windshield. Thus, blocking that spectacular view. On the way back we...

Dryer Sheets for cleaning off bugs

The guy I bought my Reflection 303 RLS from in Florida gave me a tip on how to clean bugs off the front of my RV. He said to wet down the area to clean and then take dryer sheets and wipe down the area with the bugs, let it sit a bit and then wipe again, then rinse. He said it will take of bugs...

    Bugs, Bugs, dang them Bugs!

Ok, just completely cleaned the Wildcat Maxx after our trip to Yellowstone. Worked hard on removing all the dang Bugs off the front cap. After I'm finished the Sun shines on the front cap and sure enough, there's still "shadows" of some of the Bugs left there. I had several good coats of a "wax"...

Exit window screen that lets in tons of air and no bugs.

I built a screen frame around the window frame. Put hinges at the top and a twist latch at bottom to hold tight. Cut and notched different lengths of pvc pipe to wedge in window. You won't believe how much air comes in the window while camping.
