Full timer but we just got back into our RV after 10 days in storage. In just the last 6 hours we have killed at least 7 of the little buggers. Any home “hacks” or recommendations to get rid of them?
Well, took delivery of the Isata 3 freedom edition today.
Got it in the driveway and started going through manuals and operations.
Everything appears to be working, except....
There appears to be a CAN error on one of the two onboard 310ah batteries.

We're getting the MH ready for our next trip. Looking around we found these bugs dead in the shower.
I know I've seen these things somewhere before, but what are they?
They are about 1/2" long.
I have located the overflow/vent lines from my fresh water tank. One of the 1/2" lines already had a valve? The other is about to get one to keep water from pouring out while I drive. I have labeled the Add Water Valve to remind me to open the overflow valve when filling my fresh water...
Twelve months since purchasing our travel trailer and no bugs or rodents.....and, we live in bug/rodent infested Southeastern Georgia Low Country.
We had a concrete pad poured for travel trailer parking.
Also, purchased a pretty good cover with front & rear straps along with underbelly...
A while ago somebody posted a hack for removing bugs from the front of our rigs using wet dryer sheets. I haven't tried it until today. I got back from a 2000 mile trip and the front of the motor home was covered with smashed bugs so I thought I'd give it a try. I was impressed it worked so...
Looking for some input. We live in northern Illinois and plan on parking trailer at the in-laws during the winter. In laws live on 2 acres outside of Austin Texas. This was if I was to head south and west in the winter I can drive through the snowing conditions here to pick up trailer in Austin...
My wife and I recently bought a 2020 Cherokee Wolf Pup 16BHS tt. We have been camping at some local Army Corp of Engineers sites which are all close to the lakes. At night we attempted to sit outside under the awning with the bright blue LED strip under the awning illuminated. At every site...

Since this forum provides a “Learn from Other’s Mistakes” theme, thought I would add this.
Camped at Charlestown State Park for a couple of weeks. Left my chair outside under a tree at night. It rained. Did not go into surrounding scrub brush trails at all. Sat in my chair enjoying a cold...
Hello,
Typical DuoTherm Brisk Air AC.
Has anyone experimented with wrapping a screen mesh around the AC cowling to keep the Damn Mud Daubers out!
I'm thinking a large holed mesh (not big enough for the bugs to get thru) should allow air circulation for the coils.
Or, is there a prefab screen...
Anyone ever have stink bugs in ur coach????
Back in late Sept we were set up near Douglas Lake near Sevierville, TN and they were lots of them there....
Now here we are two months later and I’m STILL finding them in our coach and having to catch them and throw them outside..... 6+ today...

I have a great collection of smashed bugs all over the nose of my fifth wheel.
Its a pain to get clean.
I applied some armorall after i cleaned it, and was thinking about next time applying Johnson's paste wax (from a tin)
The nose is made from a plastic, and has decals applied.
Any suggestions...
On the way back from the September trip we collected quite a few bugs. I had heard about using dryer sheets to clean them off so decided to try it.
I wet down the area, put some Mothers Carnauba cleaning wax on some used dryer sheets and wiped away on the buggy areas. It was very little...
How do you get the bugs off the front cap? I use a cleaner wax but it takes lots of elbow grease. I think having more moisture would be beneficial. Would one of those wash / wax all products work better. I have to keep the trailer in a storage lot and water is not available, though I could take...
We seem to have an extra passenger with us. At our last camp we heard an animal early evening. Thought it was in the trees at our campsite. Today we moved and as evening approached we heard this same low croaking noise perhaps in the A/C unit. This only occurs once or twice a day. Any idea where...
Bug season is here and they are messy critters. How do you treat the front of your MH to help reduce the accumulation; and how do you clean them off?
Ours is a 2018 Coachmen Freelander 21RS MH
Thanks for your advise.

Hello,
Have added weatherstripping and sealed where appropriate. Still having hard time preventing light from coming in at the peaks on either side of the aframe. Anyone have any suggestions for this?
Thank you,
David
We just bought our camper it’s a 31ft with 3 slide outs. Took it out the week after 4th of July and everything was great. Took it home parked it and powered it up and opened up all 3 slides to clean it and get it ready for the next trip. October 5 2018 we take off for a weekend trip to Breaks...
Anyone ever had an issue with lady bugs? Our seasonal site neighbor said he had many thousands of dead lady bugs in his trailer when he returned this year. Anyone know how to combat this possibility?
Thanks.
I have a 2017 Forester motor home with full body paint. This year we took 2 trips and put on about 4,000 miles without cleaning the bugs off the front of the camper. Now I'm not successful getting them completely removed.
First I used a power washer at a car wash.
Then I tried with the car wash...
