We have bought a 10 year old 5th wheel here in Australia and being very new to the whole RV thing, didn't really know what to look for when inspecting it prior to purchase.
The EPDM roof has no breaches at this stage but some of the edges have nearly broken through. We were going to do a Dicor...
I am looking to purchase a 5th wheel in the near future. I currently have a F-250 with a 6.2 that is rated for 2900 load capacity and 12200 tow. The 5 th wheels I have my eye on are under 10000 dry. Should I stay with this truck or go to diesel. I know diesel is the best but I usually only go...
Are they worth having?
A friend has one that will fit my truck for pretty cheap. I am really not after an mpg gains but thought it would be a way to make sure I dont dent mine up :)

I need to replace the front decal on my 2016 Sabre. It's the large one on the front cap (SABRE). Anyone had to order one lately or have any information on a good place to order it from.
I have seen this a couple times on the road, but never had a chance to chat with the owners. We are considering purchasing a Jeep Wrangler, to use as an everyday vehicle and would rather flat tow on travel days. What considerations must be made?
I understand not all States/Provinces allow this...
Ok, so before I get bashed, the title of the post is very tongue in cheek. But it is something we have been thinking about as we visit various shows and look at the possibility of moving up from out 36ft TT to a similar size 5th.
One of the things we love about the TT is the outside kitchen...
The dealer installed a basic Group 24 battery in the battery box of my Rockwood 5er. Although we've always camped on an electric site, I'd like to replace it with something that's better quality and more Amp-Hours in case the power goes out (had that happen) or we actually try dry...
I’d like to add a ceiling fan in the living/kitchen area of our 17 XLR Nitro 36T15.
I was thinking of pulling power from of the ceiling lights but I am concerned about the structure being strong enough for the fan.
Has anyone added a ceiling fan? Any tips or tricks? Recommendations?
2019 cedar Creek 36ck2. We are parked and daily we get a small pop noise and you can feel the trailer move or shake. It makes a similar sound to when your breaker kicks on. We are going to get cement blocks for each jack, to see if that helps.
We have a Rockwood 2608 SB travel trailer that we have taken across the country twice without any problems towing. Although we don’t have any problems towing the travel trailer our daughter in law keeps telling us that if we got a 5th wheel it would be so much easier to tow and we would never...

Hello to all and Merry Christmas. My wife and I have a Riverstone 39 RKFB on order and I am now researching, what is the best and safest tow hitch to pull our 39 RKFB. We are buying a new Dodge 3500 series dually with a diesel, 4X4, and this should be more than enough truck to pull this fifth...

20yr old suburban would not light.
Replaced board, igniter, sail switch and limit switch.

How high off of the ground does the overhang of your 5er sit from the ground, when level?
The overhang on our 1999 wildwood sits at only 57".
With the ongoing dilemma of new trucks with their tall bed rail heights in relationship to the clearance of the 5th wheel overhangs, I'm just...

When I use the auto-retract the front jacks on our 2014 Crusader, the motor does not want to stop when the jack is fully retracted. Makes a clunk-clunk-clunk until I stop it manually.
I have inspected the motor, seems fine.
I have inspected the gears, they seem fine. (Venture Manufacturing)

I installed the cover slightly different from the You tube video since I did it by myself. I did open and unroll it to determine the front/back ends ends and rolled back up.
I took a bungee cord to keep it rolled up, then took my 10 foot ladder along to get it on top. Worked out well to unroll...
