WHO MAKES THE BEST MOTORCOACH?

....look at used stuff right now and have it rebuilt to your specs.....usually about 30-40% of a new unite and then spend maybe 6-10 grand up dating to your liking....it is kinda like picking a good woman to spend you later years with....got to look at the whole lot of them before you pick or you will be wondering if you got the right one for a long time to come.....best of luck....but now it the time to buy what you want-or close to it-and at the price you want to pay.....geofkaye

I am thinking about 45ft coaches. I like Powerhouse Coaches with the tow bar option. I am also interested in a garage model to carry a small car with a bedroom above. My wife and I are retiring and looking to travel the country. The used coach idea is a good one and I am looking.

Thanks, John

John,

Try Hawk Engineering in Jackson MO.

We just completed a 42ft coach with an 8ft garage on a KW T2000. We used a 2001 model year truck, stretched frame and build a new 27 ft box with lower garage unit just like you mentioned.

Price was very reasonable and the build quality is excellent. But more importantly we got exactly what we wanted, the way we wanted it. We have built a few trucks before. We knew how we wanted this one to work so it was important to us to get it right the first time. You might be suprised at how inexpensivly you can build a quality coach on a used truck in the middle of the country...

We have only had ours completed for a few months and a few trips but it is solid and all systems are working perfectly.

Jason does "all of the work" at his shop. They have metal shop and cabinet shop on site. It is a great facility complete with a paint booth big enough to handle a 45ft coach. When you see the facility (located on his property) you will understand the quality of the build.

His website is not that flashy but he is a coachbuilder, not a bit-bug.

Ask to speak to Jason and tell him that Radman from Kirkwood recommended him.

Let me know if you have questions about our experience, we are happy to help.

Jim

Hi Jim, thanks for the info. I would love to see any photos you have of your coach. I was thinking of hauling a mini copper in a garage so I would not have to tow a car..

If I am not out of line, what's a coach like yours cost?

Thanks again for the info, John
