I got my 16gal clean water tank today. It's a rectangular white plasti tank with 3 bungs and a 1.5" filler spot, all on the one end. So far so good

Im planning to hook the 1.5" filler to my fill bung that will get plumbed on the side ...

Any tips so far ? things to look out for or avoid?

Im planning to put this tank on the alum. floor of the box just under the raised kitchen area.. (not hanging under the truck)

I still need a drain tank. I got the clean tank for ~$35 and would love to use a similer for the grey tank, but not sure how i'd get a drain/dump valve hooked to one? Can you buy dump valves to glue on your self? What glue do you use? Clamp on style gaskets?

Any information appreciated...

RV Parts

Mike go to this site and study for a while. They have all of the stuff you need and then some. There are also other places, but this is one of the ones I use.

Hi Mike, and welcome to the site. On all the tanks, be sure that the drain end is the lowest, and I put an additional drain on the low end and a cleanout on the opposite end on the top to facilitate cleaning (especially on the grey and black tanks.
I've been building our own conversion, so I've researced a bunch of parts and materials suppliers, so if i can be of any hepl don't hesitate to let me know. This site is full of lots of people who are building their own and have done their own modifications; whatever your question, someone has been there and done that! I sure have gotten some good advice here.....
