My wife and I left Becks in St. Johns Michigan on Friday with the new Showhauler. Drove straight to Dallas to pick up a new dragbike chassis and then on to Sacramento (home) by Sunday Night. 3000 miles in 49 hours.

The truck rocks! We drove 70-80mph most of the time. My wife had never driven a motorhome before and she had no problems...about mid day Sunday I woke up and she was doing 88mph. Very comfortable with fantastic handling. In Michigan there was 30 mph crosswinds and the truck handled it very well. Got 8.0 mpg with the generator running nearly all the time -my wife needs her heating pad.

The conversion is done with all the quality Showhauler is known for. The only hitch was the headlights were pointing too high...made a few truckers mad. Oh well.

Nathan Beck has been fantastic. Of all the purchases I have made in my life I think this one may be the most pleasant ever due to the service Nathan has provided. He's a classy guy.

We are thrilled!

Boy is that a nice looking rig! I am just in the research stage but want to do something around the 30' with twin screw. Was looking at Renegade but I like the look of yours also. I am looking to do a motorhome with garage and still tow a 24' trailer so twin screw seems to be the only way to go. Good luck! Love it.

Wooweee, that is some major seat time. Glad everything went well, when do we get to see pictures of the drag bike? What class are you racing? What are you pulling for a trailer.

Got any plans for some cool graphix.

Warpath,

I run the All Harley Drag Racing Association (AHDRA) with a Nitromethane Powered Pro Dragster, 120" Big Twin. Runs mid 7's at 180mph.

I will post pics if you tell me how.

They need to be on the web somewhere and basically you post a link (I think, this BBS may be different than mine).

What team is it? We have an AHDRA bike based near here and I run a sanctioning body for motorcycle roadracing.

Our team name is Nitrohaulics, we just started racing late last season, sold first bike in Oct.

Don't have a web site yet. You can see pics of the chassis on www.stripbike.com

Go to "Spy Photo of Weekend Frame's New PD" under features, near upper right of home page.

Sweet rig!!! The front springs may sag after a while and help your headlight issue. My century sits a good 2" lower in the front than yours...but then I have 470,000 miles too.

Brave Dog,

Top Fuel Harleys are quite fast, typically low to mid 6 second range at around 220mph. They are injected with 96-98% Nitro, 175 cubic inches, 750 - 800lbs, one or two speed and make around 800hp.

My bike (yes I ride it) is a Pro Dragster, 120" carbureted Nitro, 400lbs, single speed that makes 400hp. Pro Dragsters run in the mid 7's with the record at 7.21 seconds

The multi cylinder top fuel bikes have more potential to be faster but there are only a handful in the country that are. The world record is a high five second run at approx 250mph.

The sensation in not comparable to anything else I have ever done. It feels damn good on the top end of the track. Nothing I have ever done makes my heart pound so hard.
