what engine and transmission? how did you mount camper? how do you get in to camper? kind of high up? air or spring ride on rear?

Its a 290 Cummings and a 10 speed,I put it up there with a loader,Its not done yet i have to pannel the cab into the trailer and build a hall way into it,its at 13 feet 11 inches, and its 4 leaf on the rear. Its smooth riding.the bottom is all storage.so it will hold the stairs for the side door.

Crash, welcome, i like it, is it 13ft 11 in height? keep us posted, that is one creative challenge, Gene

I think you should get one of those doors from an airplane with a big inflateable slide for emergencies. I like the truck tho, that's cool.

you better watch every over pass height posting. we have seen tow trucks towing straight trucks backwards. after the box hits overpass it's not pretty.

true i will be watching all of them, but in WA and i believe 90% of the west coast 14 feet is the law and any thing i hit below that i am not responsible for,but it will cause damage to me.

Along with overpasses you better keep an eye out for overhead wires ! If you hit anything overhead it is your fault and your insurance company may refuse to pay for any damage done by you...

I think he's fine. He said it's 13.1' didn't he? That's 13' 1.5" or so, isn't it? 13'6" is no problem so he's under that. Unless I read it wrong and he's 13' 11",, that might be a bit high.

At 13'7" you won't have many problems, but 13'11" you will. I just don't want to hear that you wiped out some electric/phone lines and ripped them off the house(s), that could be expensive! The national hight limit for vehicles is 13'6" but I know many air ride trailers that ride at 13'8" empty.
