Brian-
You might want to clarify one thing; there is no such thing as a Kenworth engine. You have your choice of Detroit, Cummins, or Caterpillar. Which is it? That IS a nice rig!

I will take bets on a Cummins. Hmmm Cabover. How do you deal with the pass through section when you need to do maintenance? Is it just a big boot or?

Correction on the motor should be a 350 Cummins? or a 350 Detroit?
Kenworth did not make their own motors.

I thought detroit also but remembered the majority of DD's in those days were 318's.

Could've been a turbo 8V71- they put out about 350HP.

Yes, the engine is a Cummins. Sorry for the "confusion" as I just copied the info page on our truckconversion.zoomshare.com website. As noticed by many, the info is wrong on that page, but unfortunately I am unable to locate/change the info on the page as I can not find my login info.

The cab-over pulls forward for maintenence as do most cab-overs.

Thats a lot of money for a conversion of that age. There are a fair number of converted coaches (buses) that would compete and have roughly the same capabilities with more comfort. I almost bought a converted Crown HIPO that had a Cummins BC IV 400, a 13 speed roadranger, dual rear drive axles, air ride, was 40 feet long, 200 gal fresh water, generator, among other capabilities had space and performance equivilant to the KW for under 30k.
