Frame flex boot issues?

Has anyone had any boot issues due to frame flex? This would happen when the frame stretch company (Showhauler subs this out) only doubled up the frame to the rear of the fuel tank bracket instead of going all the way forward. My rig is a Showhauler without a bunk and 1/2 sleeper. The boot pinches hard at the top unless I have the 200 gallon water tank full (under the bed) and or the fuel tanks empty. I know several units had this fixed years back...just curious how it was handled.

Is the cab still air ride? If not, could it be possible whatever they locked the cab down to the frame with has failed, fallen out? If they shimmed it with wood could that have broken down and come out letting the cab sag back onto the frame and cause the pinch?

Bob,
I spoke to my dealer today and he said exactly what you say except he thinks there was no spacer and the cab deck has collapsed. Quadra's "Jim" called me today and said if the air bag mounts were still there to add a tube spacer to each one and weld. Otherwise get it level and add what it takes to fill the gap and tack weld. In the morning when it's a cool 90* I plan to crawl under there and check it out. I will keep you informed and thanks for the reply!

UPDATE:
The cab floor has not collapsed. It is true in every aspect. The frame just flexes
in this scenario:

Fuel full (large tanks), water empty (200 gallons under the bed) and no tongue weight on the hitch.

I was told the frame doubler was stopped at the fuel tank bracket to keep them from having to remove the fuel tanks and double it all the way forward. I was also told that most truck conversions come with a flashing above the boot now.
Soooo, I sealed the boot with windshield caulk and I added the flashing which I just used white vinyl from Home Depot. It has rained 10 inches on it so far with no leaks. Hickory Enclosed (my dealer) was a great help in figuring all of this out. Showhauler on the other hand was reluctant to provide assistance or a solution.

One other thing to realize. 1/4" of downward frame flex equals probably 3/4" of movement in the top of the boot. We aren't talking about frame flex to get all excited about.
