Extended the rear of my gooseneck toter

New setup on top, old on the bottom. I did not move anything yet, but it looks pretty good. Just for the record, I built the trailer to.......and it's not done yet either.....lol.

Looks great. What do you race? I used to have a '86 Corvette coupe built for road course. Loved going fast and turning. My son built a '99 Vette for the One Lap of America . We got 5th overall in the 2012.

I drag race. Mostly just on holidays currently. I also have a little chassis business that keeps me extremely busy in addition to my day job......lol.

Yes you can. Don’t try to do that with a 1 ton though (f350-550 etc) b/c you just made it into a bumper pull going that far. A beast such as above will not have a problem with such a setup.

Yes. This setup tows absolutely flawlessly......even in very high winds. The original ball was 12" behind the axle centerline. I found out after weighing my rig, before I started building my stacker trailer, that the front axle was over 1500# heavier than rated. I was able to move the ball back 22" more, which removed 800# off the front. I have towed this way across three states in nearly hurricane conditions with a wife that did not even notice(she was crying scared in our pusher with any wind before) Although I'm still working on moving some things to balance out the chassis, I did just score a pair of 9" front wheels to fulfill any weight issues I may still have.

About 26'. It is a 15' box on a class 8 chassis. About 33' 4" from front bumper to the ball. I have not seen any stretch marks, so I'm assuming this is a standard chassis/wheelbase of some sort.
