CWS Conversion

I'm looking at a used toterhome, it's built on an International chassis and the title lists it as a "1993 CWS conversion." Can anyone tell me who CWS is/ was?

Sorry I don't know anything about that company. But, there have been lots of outfits that built these things for short times and moved on. Just like regular camper builders. Only a few have survived. Doesn't mean they didn't build a good rig. I'd consider taking the truck to a truck repair place that can do a thorough inspection, including a dyno test. Oil analysis might tell you something too. Those are very inexpensive. Have you been shopping on Race, performance & street cars, engines, engine parts, trailers for sale ? Lots of rigs there to compare to. I'd say if you can't buy this thing at a extremely low price I'd walk. So many trucks available for pennies on the dollar puts you in the proverbial "driver's seat."

Thanks for the response, I appreciate it. I had been doing some background and did find out it was a local company to where the Toter is for sale, they're operating under a different name now. Anyway, I actually did find it on racingjunk.com and had been comparing it to several other setups. For me it was actually a great deal and not only gave me a toter, but also an enclosed trailer to go with it. As expected, there are some things that need done and updated, but that's what I was looking for. I appreciate your time in responding.

I bought an International Toter off racing junk last year. have your insurance company run the VIN before hand.
I had mine bound by my carrier and when it came time to issue the policy, I had a whipping from underwriting. The claimed it was everything from a firetruck to a school bus...many pics and phone conversations later, they finally accepted the truck.
