Seeking advice, suggestions, blueprints...

on how to build those wood devices that are used to level a machine by driving up on them.

Should I use plywood, 2x, 4x...?

Any suggestions, links, blueprints on how to build such device with limited waste of materials, easy to build and lowest cost...?

Thankyou in advance.

.....using wood? ...how lucky are you and how much insurance have you left for your family?.....Use steel to make ramps and made them too heavy....kinda hard to take care of your dogs if you are flattened by your own truck....Not only that, but you end up fugly.......wood will slide out from under a wheel like running over a mustard pack in a restraunt parking lot.....geofkaye

I use those leveler blocks on my 14K class C motorhome I dont think I would use them on a truck conversion !

Are the plastic blocks the best?

They look lighter and maybe stronger than wood, and they nest with each other to take up less space...

Is there anything better out there is or are the ez leveler plastic blocks as good as it gets?

If you use those plastic blocks under your levellers, make sure you double the pad size and double the thickness, they will bend and break under a conversion if the soil is at all soft. I left quite a few buried in the sod the first time I tried them under the levelling pads
