I bought a 2017 Prime Time Crusader 20 RL and have no documentation for it.
I would like to know to which pressure the wheel nuts should be torqued.
The wheels have 6 studs of about ½ an inch in diameter, and the tires are ST225/75 R15D
Thanks
Something I never thought about until the other day. I have aluminum wheels on my dually but the stock steel wheel as a spare. If I got a flat and had to use the spare, the lug nuts that I use on the aluminum wheels will not work on my spare...could be a bad situation. Simple solution was to...
I have a 12 gallon quick recovery water heater. In the excitement of receiving it last fall and setting it up this spring I neglected to ensure the heater tank had water in it before powering up the camper. So I wasn't expecting the electric element to work.
I've been using it on propane this...
I have a 2016 Rockwood Signature Ultra lite 8286ws and am thinking of getting a portable generator to use at sites with no electric. I know next to nothing about electricity, so I am looking for recommendations on a unit to buy and/or where to go a purchase one. I will need someone to show me...
I want to raise both tires, on one side, at the same time on our Ultralight 2898ks. It has torsion axles and I have searched the forum and discovered the best place to place bottle jack is on the sub-frame between the two axles. I know to raise the tires until they just clear, but my question...
Got my notice today. Surprised I couldn't find anything in this Forum on it yet. It appears the owners manual had incorrect info re lugnut torque instructions that could result in overtorqued lug nuts that in turn could result in cracks/failure of wheel studs. Not good. Fix appears to be an...
Last month in IDAHO we had a catastrophic wheel failure in our 2020 Isata 3. While driving on I-90 both dual wheels on the driver's side came off without warning: just a big boom and then scary as hell until I regained control of the RV and navigated to the shoulder. Both dual wheels off of...
Hi I have a 2018 Coachman Catalina 273BHS. I had a long 6hr trip of the 4th holiday and had two tires go flat, one the and one on the way home. Turned out it was HiSpec wheel failure and they were actually started leaking. Now I’m trying to get them replaced under warranty. They agree to but...
For all you "Hand Packers" out there. How do you clean the bearings and what do you do with the left over cleaning solvent. Most of my life I had access to a solvent cleaning station and now I don't.

Hi gang. I have a 2011 SABRE 31rets 5th wheel since new, and it has a rear tow frame with hitch receiver built in. It doesn't however have harness for lights. This coming winter, with covid on the wane, id like to head south towing a small trailer with my quad behind. Anyone know easiest way to...
2021 Sabre 32DPT and 2019 Ram 2500, 14K on camper and just this year trailer starts swaying randomly at different speeds and in corners. Tire pressures on truck and trailer all check out within 5lbs of max, tread wear on both good, pulled both with water in tanks and without, no broken leaf...
I know the reviews on a 5th wheel tripod king pin stabilizer are mixed but my wife would like to try one. We run an Andersen hitch so I need a stabilizer jack with a gooseneck ball on top to fit the Andersen adapter. I find stabilizers for gooseneck trailers but they are too short for a fifth...
For anyone who has or is going to mod their Rockwood 5'er and put a washer in it or just put one in with out mods.
We did ours and because of it we make no more trips to the laundromat with quarters. I did have to modify the closet door way in order for ours to fit ,but it worked out just fine...
Has anyone try to use their leveler jacks in manual mode to get their wheels off the ground? I have bought some better tires and I want to remove the wheels to change the tires. This camper is so heavy, I am hesitant to jack it up normally.
It makes me sick that they put unsafe China bombs on...
We are thinking of upgrading our D rated tires to E rated tires. Our rims/wheels are what came with the trailer.
We can not find a max pressure rating stamped on any of the wheels.
The spare tire rim is a white painted 15" steel wheel.
The rims on the trailer are 15" aluminum wheels.
Can...
Hi, I have not used the gas pump on my 5th wheel. It's a 07 FR All Am Sport 385 RLTS Toy Hauler.
Is it just gravity drained, or should a pump come on when I pull the "Fuel Dispensing Switch" and pull the handle on the fuel nozzle? I'm thinking there's a pump that's not working. Maybe...
Brand new here so apologies if this has been covered somewhere. I realized after driving home in a heavy rain that my new to me pop up doesn't have a wheel well liner on the driver's side. Any tips on finding a part to install?
We just purchased a 2017 forest river nitro XLR 29kw. I want to install a condor motorcycle wheel chock inside the toy hauler. Can I get some advise on doing so from people that have done this?
thank.
Scott
Good morning All,
I have a unique question for you. I purchased a pre-owned lifted 2018 Ford F-350 to tow my Cardinal 3150rl with. I noticed that when I set up on a level campsite concrete pad, I cannot get the hitch end of the RV low enough to make the RV level. I’m green as they come to set...
So I am wanting to upgrade my suspension equalizer to Road Armor or Cre3000. I know that the vibe 28rl ( and probably others ) have a wide wheelbase.
Does anyone happen to know or can easily measure the axle spacing on their 28rl? I would, but I am not near it nor plan to be for a couple of...
love my 2020 sandpiper 39bark fifth wheel, the only issue I have is hooking up and unhooking I have to use he two step method, back up till the pin box is in back of truck, close tailgate the finish hooking up, otherwise the tailgate will hit the trailer, I did not have this issue with my Jayco...
Hi all ! new to the forum, and was wondering if anyone has come up with a secure way to keep the thieves from helping themselves to this hitch. We love this equipment, but we need to have piece of mind no one is gonna help themselves to it when unhitched during the night or parked somewhere...
