I joined the black and gray water tanks at the outlet with a Valterra Waste Valve for RV Black Water Tank - Twist On T-58 etrailer part#. Opened both gray and black to link them. Only gray tank lights show water in them. I thought they should level out with equal water in each. Confused?

We just got our 2024 Salem Villa 353flfb. The grey tank only holds about 10 gallons and then starts to back up into the shower. Is there a valve that we need to turn to get this to drain into the grey tank? Any ideas? I have been trying to call Forest River and they have not returned my call!
