This weekend we will be taking delivery of a 2013 SC189. We jumped through many hoops before finding this unit. It is about as close to new as one could be. Only camped in about 10 times...the owner hates camping (wife-yes, him-no) and really had almost no knowledge of the camper. We have a...
Hello All,
Had a Passport Elite that we loved unfortunately we had a accident with a farmer pulling a very wide piece of farm equipment.
So we are starting the search of replacing are trailer.
We have narrowed the search to a Forest River 2019 267RBSS Surveyor Travel Trailer or a Heartland...
Came across a used 2018 Cherokee 26DBH for pretty cheap. I've looked at the Surveyors a lot and Im curious if there are any differences between the 2 models?
Hi, I am wondering if the two slides on my unit have limiting switches to prevent damage on extension or retraction. They seem to have different mechanisims by the sounds they make. Can they be damaged by just holding the switch to long?
Thanks all
Darrell
I was wondering since new to this.. hope this is not a repeat question. Can anyone tell me on this new model if I must use another water hose, other than the fresh water hose to back flush the black water tank since it has a specific hose connection above the black water tank?
Sad to say we're selling our practically brand new 2018 Forest River Surveyor model 265RLDS, Rear Living - Dual Slides. Fantastic condition, used less than a 10 times. Includes Center Line weight distribution hitch, 30 amp power cord, 30 amp extension cord, 50 to 30 amp "dog bone," sewer ladder...
I know that TV placement should be the last thing I worry about in a trailer that I am taking out into the woods, but I really like this trailer except for that.
Has anyone done anything (other than remove the TV), to make watching the tube easier in this model?
I have a small step light that is not working off any switches. I would think it would work off the porch light switch. It's not getting any power at all. This is on a 2019 201rbs. Could someone please tell me what switch operates theirs. Would really help before I take the switch plate apart...
I know I can find a generic owners manual for the travel trailers online at the forest river website.
What I would really like to know is there a detailed manual anywhere out there. I just went from. Micro Lite 19FD to a Surveyor 264RKLE and I would really like some more details.
Any help...
Hi,
I have some experience with small solar systems on my casita where the battery was really close to the charge controller. I had a 100 amp panel to a solar charge controller and a victron battery monitor with shunt to watch amps in amps out and state of charge. Basically just a DC...
I apologize if some of this is basic as I am brand new to TT's and looking to buy a Surveyor 226RBDS. I live in Las Vegas and Blue Dog is the only dealer here. When I called them they stated they don't know when they could or can get one in and immediately attempted to push me to two other...
Hey all, so I am in the market for a TT and was really hoping to use my existing '05 v8 4Runner as the TV. I am a consultant and work from my home office 90% of the time so my plan was to basically just uproot my office and make it mobile. I've also got a 1 year old pitbull so unfortunately I...
I have a Surveyor Sport with an outside grilling area. Everything has worked great until last weekend. I went to turn the burner on and it would not light. Figured the regulator needed to be reset so I disconnected the trailer gas supply, opened the burner for 2 minutes, turned the burner...
Has anyone replaced the “headlights” at the front of their camper?
There is water build up and I need to drain it. I was wondering if the lens unscrew or unclip. Don’t want to screw them up.
Thx. Paul.
Our "shakedown" with the 251 was pleasantly successful. Moving up from a skyline Koala 19WQ (everything manual, no slide) was like night and day. All systems worked (I believe in Mr. Murphy's Law, and have 70 years of litigation.) I finally figured out the TV (at a rudimentary level), the first...
Moved from a Skyline Koala 19WQ to the 251RKS. With 5 years of 8-9 months each year on the road we are not newbies to RVing but we are overwhelmed in a pleasant way with push buttons replacing manual labor. A couple of questions I have. Is there anything you have discovered in using the Surveyor...
