My roof airs and furnace, and both 12 roof exhaust fans run for a while then shut off for several hours, then come back on. I've replaced house batteries, and tested converter and it putting out 13.5 volts. The batteries are reading 13.26 volts. Any suggestions on things to check. I know a...
I have the Cross Flex TPO roof. I mounted my solar panel using the Renegy Z Brackets and used 1/4" galvanized lag bolts to bolt them to my roof. I then covered that with Dicor to seal it and make sure the bolts do not back out.
BUT, I feel like the bolts don't have much "bite" and could pull...
Afternoon (somewhere),
So without needing to get into the gritty of purchasing panels, batteries, what MPPT to use and gauge of wire (all of which are moot and purchased) my question is far more....frustrating.
With this trailer (Viking 17BHS), where is the most optimal point of entry on the...
I have a 2008 Rockwood HW276 and the roof rear does not fully close now.
When purchased in March the roof would open and close with no issues. We have taken it out and camped for a weekend and the roof raised and closed with no issues and it has been raised and lowered several times prior to...
Given the ongoing failures of the electric actuators under normal, non protected use, several of you have been highly successful in modifying the system by adding twin gas struts to either replace or complement the actuator. Might you be willing to make a thorough YouTube video of your...
Rockwood A213HW—rear roof panel sags about 3/8” side to side where front panel closes onto the weather strip leaving a gap in the middle. Woke up with an idea that seems to be working with no problem. I added a 1/8 x 2” piece of aluminum flat stock (got at Home Depot). Used a block of wood...
Hello everyone!
Brand new to the forum and brand new to pop up campers (at least as an owner). Grew up pop up camping and am ready to start my own family traditions with my two young sons.
We just bought a 2018 rockwood 2280 BHESP. Overall good shape, aside from a side roof board being pretty...
Rockwood mini lite trailer.. at what point would it be advisable to coat the roof with protective sealant coating..? 2 yrs , 5 yrs or as needed. I would like to be proactive and preventative instead of reactive . Dont want to wait for the roof membrane to fail. ? Thanks
Hello,
Couldn't seem to find a thread with the specific information for a '22 2318G. I'm not finding an OEM Roof Rack on the Forest River site. Anyone know if one is available for the 2318g through them or if there's a 3rd party company that has one at a decent price? I'd preferably like...
I was cleaning my roof and last 5 ft I ran out of cleaner. I went to the garage to look for some more, but no luck . I ran across some Westley's white wall cleaner, so I gave it a try. It cleaned just as good as the roof cleaner. I know its got bleach in it, but it worked great.
I want to replace the non-power vent with a power vent in the bedroom. There is a white/black tracer wire with wire nuts that appears to be for powering the vent fan but they don't have any power.
Anyone, know where this wire goes back to? I am guessing it's not wired to anything on the other...
We are replacing our roof and a 4x4 section foam is gone-picture. Anyone have any ideas or input on how best to fix this hole before putting on new plywood/fiberglass? We are thinking about putting up a velux skylight and rebuilding a frame but curious on techniques or material or Any ideas...
I have a Early model 2017 DX3 TS, I added 640AH of LiFePO and waiting for another 640AH of Batteries, Disabled my BIRD and put in a DC-2-DC Charger (Limits 50A from Alternator to the LiFePO Battery bank), moved the factory Solar to the Chassis Batteries since it does not have a Lithium Profile...
I purchased a 2021 PUMA XLE Lite 22FKC in May of 2021. On 11/16/2021, I returned the unit to the dealer for warranty repairs. There were 5 "bubbles" in the roofing material on the top of the camper stretching from the AC to the outer edge of the camper. On March 25, 2022, I picked up the unit...
I was doing some maintenance on my 2005 trailer about two years after I purchased it new. I noticed the pluming vent covers were brittle so I replaced them with metal vent covers and couldn't be happier. I never had to worry about them again except for inspecting the caulking. My refrigerator...
