Hello. I am new the forum and this is my first thread. I bought a 2002 Salem hybrid and the part of the canvas is broken away from the camper. It looks like the plastic cracked that tucks in. Does any one know that that is called and if I can replace it?
Hi all! I read through the other WJ thread but, since it was so old, I couldn’t comment or reply to any of the posts so I figured why not start a new one :D
I bought a 2015 Windjammer 3001W Diamond Pkg in March and am very happy with the purchase thus far. There were a handful of fixes needed...
Last year I turned too close and creased the door of our new 2019 235S Roo with the mailbox. The door has about a 6" crack/crease where the siding is broken. I was wondering what we could use to seal/semi-repair that until we arrange a proper repair (I'am assuming the door skin needs to be...
Hey Everyone,
So this has been a great camper for us for 12 years, but now I find myself in the middle of a huge repair job, and I am looking for some input.
While the camper was in storage it developed a crack in the fiberglass near top corner of rear slide out. I covered with silicone as a...
The faux wood laminate on the bathroom door of our Sunseeker 2400W is peeling back. It's also happening in a few small places in the bathroom.
Has anyone repaired this before? Wondering what the best adhesive would be and if there are any special techniques to make it stay.
So I noticed that the Frame on the door side of my chalet is bent most likely from using the step to get inside. Looking for ideas on how to bend it back into place and secure it otherwise I cannot use the steps.
We're considering a new RV that has this damage. The dealer says that they will do the repair including a new decal. Is anyone experienced with such repairs. I assume that it might look ok at first, but how about a year from now??
I'll appreciate any opinions,
John
Wondering if anyone could give me an idea on how to approach a soft spot on my trailer roof ( 2013 wildwood 26tbss) we put our our slide - to get ready for the upcoming camping season - in our backyard this year ;) and went to check seams / recaulk. Along the edge , where the caulking goes the...
We have 2014 Cedar Creek 36CKTS and the plastic in one of the removable frames needs to be replaced. Where can I get the materials, plastic and the bead, to fix it? I appreciate any ideas.
I backed the water tank drain pipe into a snow pile this winter cracking a grey water drain valve flange. The piping is close coupled with the black water tank. The valve gaskets won't let me slip the valve out. I would like to replace the indicated flange but I cannot see how to get it apart...
The exterior skylight in the bathroom of our 2019 2508 Rockwood Mini Lite developed a crack on the corner which allowed water to seep inside.
The skylight was recently replaced under warranty. Water is no longer seeping inside.
However, I notice there is now an excessive amount of condensation...
Now that supper Tuesday is over I was able to get three 8x4 political signs from the losers for free. I get some after every election as they are great for repairing under belly damage on our tt. They worked great when I had to cut an access hole to repair the shower drain.😁
Hey guys not sure if this is the right forum Since I do not own a Forest River lol I’m pretty new to the rv camper world as you can already tell. At any rate we recently purchased a jayco kiwi hybrid camper. Overall the camper seems in good shape. But, I did notice the one corner above the pop...
We drove an hour to look at a used 2016 FR3 30DS with 28k miles on it, and were disappointed - it wasn't in quite as good a condition as we had hoped, after staring at the pics for a few hours the past week. The windshield had a large crack on the passenger side, and the owners had a pet -...
Good afternoon,
I have developed a roof leak on my Rockwood Signature Ultra 8289ws. I first noticed brown streaks on the shower wall coming from the skylight. The skylight had been replaced by the dealer as a recall a few years ago. Upon checking on the roof around the skylight I found where...
on a different but similar subject to the pump losing a prime the DW announced we had a water leak while connected to city water at the Tucson KOA. Didn't leak for 5 days while boondocking. Saw this once or twice before when connected. Deduced it was at the water heater that's tucked in the very...
We bought our 5th wheel used and the previous owners put window shades in. the bottom of the shades are mounted into the wall. However, they mounted and remounted the shades multiple times leaving numerous holes in the wall. Since the wall is a thin veneer, I'm not sure what the best repair...
I need to do some flooring repair on our V-Lite. I need to cut the vinyl flooring, repair the flooring below, and then re-glue the vinyl back down. I am going to use the liquid wood to repair the water damaged soft spots. How warm does it need to be for me to start this project? I can run...
I'm going to help a buddy fix a ceramic floor in his motor home. I've done tile in homes, but never in a MH. Anyone here done this? Wondering if we need cement board, and if use regular quick set mortar or if I need to use something more flexible? Thanks for any insight.
I am going to have to make some water damage repairs on the FRPs of my 2014 WNP 30WLA travel trailer. The 'million mile' bolts attaching the aluminum roof cap to the wall panels have been wicking water and done damage to a significant section of the wall.
I have searched for info on...
It looks like a large plastic motorcycle chain. No other motorhome that I have had needed it obviously but mine broke on my 2018 Georgetown. It encases the wires for the slideout.
Has any one else had trouble with theirs and is there a DIY repair for it?
Thanks ,
Max
Hi,
First post so be nice. Had a trip from you know where. Several small issues from DSI FLT, to 2 vent covers breaking, to my biggest issue. The privacy curtain to the rear bunk in my toy hauler came completely out of the ceiling during travel, screws and all. Not sure how they all came out at...
