The struts for lifting the bed are very wimpy. The is difficult to lift and will not stay open on its own. Has anyone replaced (or supplemented) the stock struts with something a bit beefier? If so can you share what you used and how you mounted them?

I have a 2025 350G with Tow-assist issues. Dealer techs don't know where the unit is installed. Can anyone tell me where this thing is hidden? Thanks!
