    RV solar Awning 1,000 watts!

Hello everybody, It has been awhile since I have been here. I saw this product and I wish that they had this about 12 years ago. I did a quick search and did not see this product pop up, so I figured that I would post it. It would be interesting to see how long this will last as an awning. There...

    First trip of 2025

We just made reservations in the Greenville, SC area for the first week in Feb. Just to visit family and friends. Also another benefit is the road test for our annual trip to Florida in March. It's so stinking cold this week and we have winterized the rig and will likely have to put some...

Replacing Water Line to Residential Fridge

The water line to the residential refrigerator started leaking a few years ago. Being we can live without the ice maker, I just turned the water off to the fridge. However, now I'm thinking I should fix it. I'm concerned that there is not enough room to roll the fridge out to get behind it to...

    Quick Connect Wiring for FW

I'm considering upgrading my wireless rearview observation camera on my FW. The camera is about 8 years old and sometimes I lose the signal between the camera and the monitor. This time around I'm also thinking about adding side cameras triggered by the turn signals. Just to cover all the...

    Politics

Nope, this is not about talking policies or or any one politicians. But I swear you can't even go anywhere without someone arguing the single one topic. What happened to just sitting around and chatting about the weather, Ford, Dodge or Chevrolet, camper furniture peeling, grandkids...

Electric panel has a green light on when power is disconnected

I have a 2025 23RK with the solar 1 package. I have the shore power disconnected, solar is set to not charge battery and the battery disconnect is turned off. I can still see a green light in the fuse panel as if power is still coming into the panel. When I store the trailer how do I ensure...

Good morning, We have a 2023 Jayco Eagle HT 28.5 that we just bought new at the end of 2024. So we haven't camped in it yet, just sitting in our yard about 30 feet from the house. I had been checking on the BMPro app the temps and condition of things inside the camper as well I would turn...

    Furron refrigerator

After replacing the bumpers on the frig, it made a world of difference. My question is, does your frig just have a little lift to it when it shuts? Mine does, just wondering if that's the norm, or is a adjustment needed. 225mls!

    St George, Utah

Just got back from trip out to St George Utah. If you have not been there, I highly recommend you go take a trip out there. If you like hiking, there are countless hiking trails close to town. Bryce Canyon and Zion are also good for a day trip from there. Here are some photos from our trip.

    Temperature settings

I've drained the water out of the RV, water filter, etc. However, I left my heater on. It is set at 38; is that a recommended temperature? Also, should I have drained my water heater, or will it drain itself all the valves are open. Thanks for any input.

    Tampa show

Spent the day at the show yesterday, very crowed considering it was the first day. Comfortable temperatures, around 60F and partially cloudy. Got to see the new Brinkley's. They had a big add touting their new paint option. If I remember correctly, it was close to 20K. We spent some time at the...

How have you secured the popout sleepers at each end from people breaking in when stored? Is there a way to lock them? It's quite simple for someone to unscrew the latches and get inside.
