I fortunately have not had any issues where I have needed roadside assistance, but I know the odds are that I eventually will.
My regular insurance on the coach does have a roadside feature, but not sure of limitations. I looked at AAA, but they exclude a lot of RV related stuff. Then there are...
Anyone have dealing with them. Made any claims? What's your experience? Picking up motorhome Monday and tring to decide on insurance they have the best total loss coverage
Hope this isn't considered too personal, but I was wondering if people would be willing to share what they are paying for RV insurance. I know the cost varies according to coverage, but from what I am gathering, we are on the high side. I did get quotes from three different companies last year...
Hi all!
I just found out that our current carrier, GEICO, doesn't do full-time insurance anymore, neither does Progressive. I'm having trouble finding it. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Just purchased a unit from a private person. He did not have a tag on it as he never put it on the road. Is this legal in MA? I also need an insurance agent in the Berkshire region near Pittsfield.
Picking up new Wildcat Friday April 22. When do I have to have insurance by? When you buy a car you have three days to get insurance switched over how does it work on a fifth wheel? Can you even get insurance until you sign the papers? tried searching but can'r fined any clarity. Thank for all...
I'm looking for the best deal on insurance for my new travel trailer. I will not be putting it on my current vehicle or my home owner's plans. Any tips? thanks
We are getting our trailer Saturday. We have full replacement cost insurance through good Sam on it. The bank is trying to talk us into gap insurance as well. Is this needed if we have full replacement cost insurance? Is their a point in having both?
Hello there! Is me again, asking more questions....I just got some quotes for insurance on my 30DS which we will be picking up in April. I will be towing my Jeep Wrangler, which is paid for. What Insurance companies are the best to go with, or what is the consensus amongst the FR3 owners? Also...
How much insurance do you carry? I carry right now $250,000.00 each person and $500,000.00 each accident. I am going to raise the insurance but I need to know what other people carry. Underinsured is something I worry about. When my sons were driving and on my insurance I think I carried more...
We're looking at renting a Georgetown 364TS for a week this summer to see how it fits us.
For insurance, the dealer quoted us $25/day w/ a $2500 deductible. Is this reasonable? Will "regular" insurance companies do a one-week rental insurance type of deal?
My insurance company just informed me that their original quote with $500 deductible was wrong and that any RV over $100k is automatically 5% deductible so it's $5000 now.
Can any Canucks confirm this or do I need to look for a new insurance company?
Thanks
Brian
Has anyone used the Good Sam insurance for either their rv, vehicles or home?
If so, how is it and any issues. I just got a quote from them for my 2 cars and tt and home and its almost $1200 cheaper. Comparing the auto, rv side I don't see anything different in coverage, and good sam has...
Who you guys using and how much a year are you paying? Always had my trailer with State Farm but the dealer got me a quote through a broker from Nationwide for $700/year including total replacement coverage. Haven't checked with State Farm yet, will do that today along with Good Sam. I do know I...
So we just picked up our new camper [2016 Salem Hemisphere 27BH] last week. I am wondering what you guys are doing for insurance as far as coverages.
I had my old camper through the same insurance as home/auto - Indiana Farm Bureau. I paid $55 a year for the 2005 Roo.
I had him update it to...
I would love to find an insurance that had coverage for rodent damage (in SW with packrats) and is fairly comprehensive for full-timing.
We have Geico at the moment, just bought the rv. However, I found they don't cover rodent damage, and that is a real issue in AZ.
Hello all. I am currently shopping for insurance for the 2013 Berk we will most likely be taking delivery of next week (if everything works out). I know the insurance is higher on these things than what I am used to with my truck and fifth wheel and I only have two quotes right now (Progressive...
I just renewed my policy at the cost of $383.00 for my 32 foot 5er. This is for $100.00 deductible on everything and $5,000.00 personal belongings including theft. My trailer is valued at $16,300.00 replacement cost.
This is for full replacement cost, not yard sale value. The reason I mention...
We spend a lot of road time going state to state. We have to change policies at end of year...our current company is changing eligibility. We have Medicare and need to work with that too. Any information would really be helpful. I can always count on fellow RVers for great suggestions.
I have not seen any answer to this issue. What is it with the Financial and Insurance Companies that want to know if your full time or not. How does it effect and is the cost higher if you are fulltime?:trink39:
Sorry, our main objective in life is really not complaining but our recent experience has led to weeks of heartache, heartbreak and heartburn. We have been customers of National Interstate of Hawaii for 15 years and until this year have never had a claim which we were so grateful for. However...
I have been thinking of trading up from my F250 4x4 to an F450 or F550. However, my insurance company, who I have used for over 30 years, does not write policies for trucks larger than 350, 3500 size.
Who has reasonable and reliable insurance for larger trucks such as an F550?
Thanks ahead...
