Our hydraulic dinette slide retracts without any issues, but within a few minutes it slides out an inch or two at the bottom.
Any idea what the problem might be?
2008 Hurricane 34B
Own a 2009 Georgetown. At this time I had to replace all hydraulic lines. They were seeping fluid and ready to burst. Contacted FR and was told they had stop using the orange hoses because of problems. Be sure to check your lines for leaks.
I was under my RV inspecting and looking for things that may present an issue down the road. I then came across the orange return lines on my jacks and saw the orange coating was cracking and peeling at many locations. They were not leaking but were a concern. These were on top of the frame...
Hi there, wondering if anyone has had to replace the keypad in their Equalizer Hydraulic leveling system. Our 2009 Berkshire 390BH was working fine but all of sudden (of course when we needed to move to the dealer appointment for a satellite install) no power when the power button is pressed...
Having an issue with the bedroom slide on a class A
I have to giggy wiggle from side to side to get it to extend however, there is no issue retracting the slide. Incoming works normal. Any thoughts??
Hi FR Friends,
Like my sig says, I have a 2020 Cottage 40CCK destination trailer that has three slide outs with hydraulic control and I have a few questions.
This is my first hydraulic controlled unit and unlike my electric controlled 5th wheel that has three separate control switches, my...
2016 364TS. We keep the big guy indoors. This leak appeared. Any ideas. He was just sitting there. I’ll Crawl underneath and make sure things are tightened up. I just found it odd that he hasn’t run in a couple months and truthfully we haven’t used the leveling jacks since last fall. I’ll...
I would like to go from 8in to larger where the jack plates meet the ground then put the snap pads on. My problem is I don’t have the number on the sides of the jacks so I would know what replacements I need
Does anyone with the 2021 have that number on there jacks. There was no instructions...
Found a major hydraulic leak while going down the highway in Texas. Pulled over to find the slide fluid leaking. Being in the middle of Texas and not sure what else to do, went to a hardware store and cut 2x4 to block slides closed.
Upon further inspection found that the line routed to the...
Hi Everyone,
New to the forum so excuse any fumbling here.
I have a 2014 Salem Villa classic that has three hydraulic slide outs. The camper is on a seasonal site so the hydraulics are only used twice a year (once to open, once to close). The Hydraulic hoses are in parallel with only a single...
3 weeks ago on the 2nd day of camping I heard snapping/popping sounds that I thought were coming from the electrical pedestal. After going around to the other side of the MH I could tell the sound was coming from underneath. The sounds were intermittent and sometimes louder than others.
My...
Need assistance in locating either a rebuild service or replacement motor for my 1999 Cardinal. The RV tech says the motor is locked up and has a short to ground. The manual pumping mechanism is frozen. I appreciate your help.
My hydraulic 4-slide system is plumbed to a manifold, or distribution box, which allows me to turn off, or adjust timing, of each slide-out.
The adjustment is made with small, black, twist/screw 'knobs'.
Where these 'knobs' screw into the manifold, it has been leaking hydraulic fluid...very...
Comparing two models for purchase. Both have six jacks for leveling etc. one electric and one hydraulic. I currently have a mid-bunk with hydraulic. The floorplan doesn't work for us any longer and want to switch. Going to front living bath and a half. Is the electric sufficient? The only issue...
I have a Sandpiper with 3 hydraulic slides. We have one switch inside to operate all 3 slides at one time. All slides extended/retract at the same time. There is a manual isolation valve out in the pump compartment. The inside panel has provisions for 3 switch (one for each slide), only uses...
I have a 2016 Leprechaun 317SA with Big Foot Automatic levelers. I had a service shop check and fill hydraulic fluid while it was in for other repairs. I should have asked them where the fill is, but I did not. I'm having some sporadic issues with them going up/down. I have bled them recently...
We take our RV out about once a month. When we go to storage to hook up, the front bedroom slide is open. We also experience the RV leaning after a few hours of being leveled.
No signs of fluid leak, reservoir is full to factory, all hose are tight. Not sure if maybe a Solinoid not closing...
Hi everyone!
I have been chasing a problem with my jacks for about a month. I have a 2018 Dynamax Isata Series 4 by Forest River. It is equipped with an Auto-Leveler hydraulic jack system from equalizer systems. Before I begin, I replaced both house batteries today upon writing this post. Brand...
Ok I have to swallow my pride and ask for help with my 6 point level up and hydraulic slides,I’ll start at the beginning and try to make sense of my issue so in October we went to leave the campground on our last trip and the slides would not move or would the level up so I thought maybe battery...
We have a 2020 Sierra 321RL that has had numerous issues in our 1st year of ownership. It is now 14 months old and having hydraulic jack & slide issues. Got home from camping, extended front jacks & unhitched from truck. Then pushed auto level button and it said grounding jacks, nothing...
Has anyone found a good solution for cold weather hydraulics?
Any time it drops below 40's, my hydraulic system shuts off every 5-10.secs.
I replaced regular 10.A fuse with self-resetting circuit breaker to reduce fuse replacement events.
I replaced hydraulic fluid with low viscosity synthetic...
Has anyone moved the hydraulic valve body for the slides to a more convenient spot? Mine is in the front compartment close to the pump. It is a pain to get to so I'm trying to figure out a better spot for it. It looks like a single hydraulic line made up would allow it to be moved to a different...
Everyone that I have talked to and YouTube videos indicate that a tug or a pool check should be accomplished prior to departing the RV park. That this is a safety check.
I have a 2021 Cedar Creek Hathaway 36CK2. I do not know how to raise both front jacks slightly off the ground so I can do a...
