My GT3 has the electric power switch outside as per photo. My wish would to put it in the control panel with the water pump switch. Has anyone done this and if so please advise
Hey guy's, My hot water heater quit working on electric. It works great using LP but wondering what to check to see what the issue is with it not working on electric. Thanks in advance for any help with this. It's a Dometic unit.
EDIT by site team: The member has a Suburban water heater, not a...
I have a Coachman Clipper 17BH 2018 and it has the Suburban SW6D Gas water heater. Looking to upgrade SW6DE to have both electric and gas capability. Does anyone have any info on this subject?
Hi all,
I have a 2015 Rockwood signature ultralight 8329SS. I upgraded from the suburban tank water heater to a Girard 2GWHAM Instantaneous water heater, and I absolutely love it (we even use it to fill our outdoors clawfoot bathtub!)
I would like to cut down (or eliminate) propane usage when...
I have a 2004 cedar creek. We de-winterized it. Put the plug in the water heater, hooked up the water and tested the heater. We had hot water. Now we are at the campground and no hot water.
Does anyone have suggestions of what to try? No visitors allowed, so I can't get any help with it.
Hey everyone,
We're at a CG right now and each time we try to take a shower, the hot water runs out in no time at all. The water is piping hot at first, but quickly become lukewarm and then cold. The burner kicks on and stays on pretty quickly after starting the shower, so that is not the...
Hey guys, Haven't posted in quite a while since going full time in July '19. I've never had to use my Suburban hot water on propane but will be on a trip next month. I turn off the 110 switch inside the heater and turn the inside propane switch on. I don't smell propane at all so it doesn't...
Who designed the GT5 31L5 access port to the hot water heater bypass & isolation valves?? How are those of us with manly forearms supposed to reach them???
Cheers,

I was checking the levels at the system monitor and suddenly it stopped working. Along with that the hot water gas/electric buttons are not working. I can deal with out seeing the levels but I need hot water. We are boondocking our in nevada right now.
I’m getting the TT ready to store for 4-6 weeks. Should I be draining the hot water heater or is it ok to sit for that amount of time. If it matters, I use an inline water filter for shore water.
Thanks!
I have a 2020 Cedar Creek Hathaway that has a 12 gal hotwater heater that will work on electric for a while then it will go to propane and the control center shows electric on propane off. I was wondering if maybe the demand at times while doing dishes or showers could cause that?
I have a 2005 Salem Lite T23. Came home to find water on floor coming out of kitchen sink cabinet where hot water heater is located. Water was running out of trailer outside near hot water heater exterior vent.
Not able to get inside cabinet due to shelf & 2 drawers.
Any ideas as to what might...
The last TT we had was a Rockwood. It had had a gas/electric hot water heater in. To control what you wanted for heat, you had to select it on the control panel. Now we have Cedar Creek Hathaway 38DBRK 5'r. It has a control panel with it. It has a switch for gas by the main panel and a switch on...
Have a brand new 2891BH, have used the gas water a dozen times and this pm went to light it at the wall and no red dsi lite or clicking heard. Ignitier is not igniting. any one have any thoughts on this? I have electric hot water so good there. Have checked connections and they all look good...
I am new member, so I hope that I am posting my first question correctly. I have a new 2019 Flagstaff 528RKS fifth wheel. Started my winterizing process this past Monday. Everything was going well until I pulled off the panel to access the valves on the back of the Hot Water Tank. There were no...
I have had sporadic issues with drippy hot water. I have tried to figure out the problem and i'm stuck. The hot water connection on the kitchen faucet drips only when the water is hot, but only when the water is heated from being cold. Once the water is hot, it doesn't leak any more. I have...
First year winterizing a 2018 Wildwood Lodge 385FLBH. After years of dealing with 5th wheels, this unit has a Bradford White utility style hot water heater located internally under the kitchen counter. No external access that I can find, no drain pipe or plug, no anode rod to pull. Lack of...

Woke up this morning and realized our furnace has not been working through the night. We have propane. I did a test and the hot water tank will not ignite either. It works fine on electric. I’m thinking pressure regulator. Any other ideas? We are stationary for work in western PA. I’m gonna need...
