on our 2021 surveyor two of the three cargo compartment doors have 1/4 turn latches and locks. I'd like to install slam-latch locks on those doors. I would install them in the center of the door, and leave the two 1/4-turn latches in place. has anyone done this? thanks Ken

Does strut go in with cylinder side connected to the step or bottom of door?

Has anyone had this problem? We close and lock the door, make sure it won't open. Leave it for a few days, come back and the door is unlatched. It also unlatches when we travel with the unit. This is a new to us 2019 Solitude 310GK. Any help is appreciated!
