If the deadbolt is out and the door is close, it can bend the deabolt. As soon as someone tries to bend it back, it will likely break. I have seen this a few times. They have a pretty simple replacement video and it is FAR less costly than a full lock replacement.

I have an EverChill WD-282FWDC-6. The bottom hinge has a bunch of play. You have to push both sides of the door to make it close. Doesn't stay closed. Hard to reach Lippart customer service. Is this normal? Any fixes?
