I have completed the suspension upgrades on my 2018 Sunseeker 3270 (32 foot) Class C motorhome which is on Ford E450 chassis. After the upgrades, I did a 1500 mile round trip towing a 22 foot race car trailer and another 1200 mile round trip with a Jeep Wrangler Sport S 2 door toad behind me...
I found 2 hidden fuses under the driver side door step. On our 2017 311FS Class C on E450 chassis. I emailed Jason Johnson at Coachmen to find out what they are for, and here is his response.
They are 5 amp fuses. One is for your heated mirrors and the other one is for the house battery charge...
Hi,
My husband and I are looking to purchase a new class c. The Coachmen Leprechaun or Freelander 26DS caught our eye, and we would like the Ford 450 chassis. Can anyone who has this unit offer any likes or dislikes.
Thanks very much!
Hello - My question for your experienced full-timers is in regards to the care and preservation of tires and other RV systems while camping year round in the Northeast US.
I have just bought a 2019 Sunseeker 3250DSLE that I will be staying in M-Th, and then driving my car back to PA for the...
Any recommendation on good RV insurance for Class C. We currently have State Farm and not sure if we could do better or not. Anyone have any complaints that has actually had to put a claim in with State Farm? I feel I probably want to stay away from Nation General since they are related to...
Folks
Love your opinion. We have a 24 foot SunSeeker Class C and love it. We have owned it for years but never have towed another vehicle behind it. We either had our bicycles or the wife met me at the campground. I was thinking of going from a Class C to a TT or even a 5th wheel. We...
License-Class A vs Class C
So California says a class C drivers license works for a two axle vehicle up to a GCWR of 26,000 lbs, but if there are three axles the GVWR is 6000.
Class A is required to tow a 5th wheel and most TTs
It looks like the difference is not about a 2500 truck or 3500...
I am looking into adding a 2000w pure sine wave inverter. It will fit nicely under my sofa next to the step well where my Battleborn batteries are and located about 2' away. My transfer switch that came with the MH is located on the opposite side of the coach about 10' away. Has anyone done...
I was curious if anyone has a LiquidSpring rear suspension installed on a Ford E series class C motorhome. I’m looking for feedback on how much it might improve the ride quality over the stock leaf spring suspension, and whether the improvement was worth the cost. Thanks.

Hello Everyone ! I have a Prism 2150 LE Mercedes Sprinter that has wiring issues. The Led tail light turn signals are barely visible when turned on same thing with brakes. The running lights seem to work ok but you can barely see turn signals and brake lights. As a result the jeep toad lights...

I am considering purchasing a class c in the 30' range. Do the Forest River's come standard with any type of upgraded suspension, sway bars etc? I looked at Jayco's and they have something called the J Ride System that is supposed to improve the ride.
Since everything was closed, I decided to install Dynamat and Dynaliner in the cab of the camper this past holiday weekend. Although I would have preferred to have our beachfront spot on Lake Michigan, doing this was almost as much fun! :D
I started by removing the seats which required a 19mm...
We have a 2015 Forest River Forester, purchased brand new. Current mileage is 19,500 miles, of which, we towed a small car on a dolly for approx. 10,000 miles (of the total mileage). I just want to ask some questions on the following items for recommendations and approximate cost for brake and...
I need new tires on the front of my sunseeker class c 2013 my dealer is pushing a new line of tires they are sailun tires with a 50000 mile tread wear. looked up on internet, said good tires for cars, no comment on tires for trucks and motorhomes. wondering if anyone has used these tires and...
We bought our RV about 2 years ago. We have taken it on a few in-state trips, and one two-week multi-state trip. We are planning on an extended trip this summer.
We have a Coachmen Freelander 27qb. The front overhang decals are fading and we would like to restore them. So what do you recommend to restore the color and how do you get to that area to do that? You can't stand on the hood and you can't reach it all with a ladder on the side.
Thanks for...
Hey everyone - a leveling question here.
I have a dynamax isata 3 which has 4 tires in the back. When using camping levelers, do I need two for each side that needs to be elevated? Or is it acceptable to only use one for a given side, in which case, one tire will be in the air not touching...
The picture is of a standard Velvac 71548 on my class c. I am looking for an upgrade and was thinking about getting a larger stick-on mirror that goes all the way across and replace the 2 at the bottom. But it wouldn't be independently adjustable. I don't even know what the small round one is...
We have a new 2020 Forest River Forester 2441DS Class c motorhome. There is a blue cover underneath a yellow sticker on the back of the RV that says something about a cooking station. My husband thinks it is for hooking up the brake to tow the car. I was told it was for the gas hookup for a...
I was wondering when Forest River figured the gross weight do they include full gas tank, full gray and black water tanks and full fresh water tank ? just wondering . Thanks for all replies.
