I have two younger children that enjoy camping in our 2019 Forest River Rockwood Mini Lite 2509s. But, my youngest has fallen out of the bottom bunk a few times now because they scoot around in their sleep to be up against a wall. Sometimes this is fine, but when they keep moving towards the...
Hello all,
We've had our 300BHS for about two years. During our first trip of the season last week, I noticed the outlet in the bunkhouse wasn't working. The TV in the bunkhouse and all other outlets across the camper work fine. I checked the outlet with a multimeter, no voltage. I checked the...
In the FR3, as well as every other motorhome we looked at from many different manufacturers, the overhead bunk always had a lockout with a key. Some had a similar setup for the slide-outs as well.
Does anyone know why every manufacturer is doing this for the overhead bunk?
Is there a DOT...
Hi All
We have a 2015 FR Legacy 340 BH.
Yesterday when putting out our big slide where the dining area, kitchen and bunk beds are located , it was very slow in going out.
This morning we brought it in with no issue.
We tried to bring it out at our next stop, and it appears to be binding on the...
I have a 2023 Roo 21SS. I am having a hard time finding out how use the emergency exits in the bunk bays.
I’d appreciate if someone could share the page number of the owners manual PDF, a video link, or just write out how to use the emergency exits.
Thanks!

Hello all and thanks for letting me join this forum. I am a solo female trying to renovate my bunk room . I am wanting to remove the entertainment shelf counter unit to make room for a small freezer. I tried to remove the screws that attaches the counter to the...
Long one here my technical minded friends...
Rv stays under a pole barn to shore power with a surge protector and has sat for months. Today we went out to clean and pretrip and noticed no receptacles work and fridge was hot. Fridge set to auto was still trying to ignite furnace I could hear...
If there’s a good thread on this already, please let me know!
We’re second owners of 2017 Roo 233S. We noticed this spring that the bottom quarter of the front bunk end has gotten pretty soft. We noticed two years ago that the outer hinge was starting to bend out a bit also, but it seemed to...
Apparently, I blew the fuse for the bunk when I raised it. I am trying to find the fuse. I read that it is alongside the door in the battery compartment. I cannot find the fuse layout to indicate which one it is.
I found a 2019 thread on this leak issue, but new owners are also seeing this problem. My comment below was to a post on the Isata 3 facebook group my wife monitors:
Our 2022 also collected the maximum amount of water from leaks while parked in the driveway this winter. We had much more rain...
Hopefully my details make sense. Will need a mod to rotate the photo...
The right side of the bunk doesn't securely latch onto the hook. From the photo, it looks clear of the hook (pin?), but the hook is no longer catching it. The left side is fine.
I haven't tried manually pulling the hook...
it seems that the left motor on the overhead bunk is not working We have tried checking fuses and looked for lose wires. if we disconnect the left side we can lower the bunk. My question is does anyone now the correct model number for the replacement motor. Also what is the best way to reach...
2014 shamrock with the bunk end loose tenting and old latch system. Has anyone replaced using the new tent end fully attached with the new latch system? How close is the size and fit? I know anything is possible throwing enough money at the problem, but I'd like to take advantage of the new...
We have a FR3, and the problem is the front bunk will not lower all the way.
The right side will come down but the left side hesitates and pops down from the pressure. it then comes down about six inches unevenly. it stops there and we can hear the motor clicking but the bunk does not move...
2016 windjammer from rock wood.
Bought it a year ago and the front has a bunk room with a sliding pocket door that goes in between two walls with a deep thick valance over the doorway.
It does not glide. If my small kids push it from there low shoulder height position they can barely move...
On our 2016 windjammer 3006wk we have a front bunk room
Pocket door slide between two walls there so you can’t get to the track in there.
The door always seems in a bind, especially to my kids who are trying to push it from a low height. It pushes easier from a higher push point
Any idea...
We currently have a 2011 21SS that we bought new and used regularly, during covid time local parks and state parks were all closed and we switched to tent camping at conservation areas and tend to go more for that than parks and enjoy being truly out by ourselves.
We have considered setting...
Hi Everyone,
I recently purchased a 18RJB, loving it but looking for storage for clothing. My idea is to update the "bunk bed" above the bed into storage for mainly clothing. Hoping to find some suggestions. I had originally thought about drawers but quickly realized that this would not be easy...
Hey all!
This is my first Forest River camper so I’ve never been on here before. We just purchased a 2022 Wolf Pup 16BHS for weekend camping in state parks and boondocking wherever we can. I’m sure we’re going to enjoy it. I’ve had several campers before so not new to the camping lifestyle...
I’ve found lots of threads about the bed end latches not closing hard enough, and people have adjusted the Roto-Vise latches to close harder, but my latch won’t close at all! Does anyone know how to adjust the height? The bottom part of the latch gets in the way from it closing. The bottom part...
Our 2018 25BRDS upper bunk is never used except for storage. I am thinking of removing it and installing shelves on the back wall and perhaps the side wall. Has anyone tackled this job? Can I just trim the aluminum frame work and use them as the frame? I am nervous about mounting stuff to the...
First trip, drove 900 miles, set up. Bunk was lowered and then raised. Front bunk won't come down again. It is unbuckled, key is on, fuse in battery compartment is good. Connections appear good at the key switch.
Don't know what else to do. Don't want to take it in. We are here for a month and...
Hi, our Freelander Motorhome had a leak into the overhead cab area. The “subfloor” was wet but didn’t need any repair just to be dried according to the RV repair company. The subfloor is a little wavy.
How is the floor structure made? E.g. With metal or wood studs, etc.
I believe the maximum...
Question. Wr have a Forest River Wildwood 26DBUD. It has a double bunk bed in the rear. I would like to remove the upper bed as it will make it easier for our daughter to get in and out of the bed. Any advice? Will removing it effect the structural integrity of the unit? TIA for all advice. Regards
Been looking for this number for a while without any luck.
Figured it might be easier just to ask the forum that has the knowledge.
Just wondering what the max weight limit for the overhead cab bunk is. Also what weight everybody normally puts up there and if anybody has had any bad signs or...
