Just recently I've noticed that the gray and black tank sensors are showing empty. This happened while on a camping trip, I checked the panel before dumping, both showed empty, but when I opened the valves, they had a considerable amount of liquid in them. Wondering if anybody out there has seen...
You guys helped me out before, and i need help again. I have a Cedar Creek Hathaway 38 FBD, with 2 toilets. The black tank is drained, but the down stairs toilet will not empty. I've used the black tank flush, back flowed the gray tanks, ran a snake down the toilet, used a high dollar plunger...
2017 coachman leprechaun 260DS My black tank flush was leaking where the fitting hooks to the tank, the fitting was cracked. No way to remove and replace as it is spin welded to the tank. I removed the black fitting (see picture #1) put a bunch of silicone on it screwed it back in then put a...
Does anyone use a pocket hose like the Silver Bullet or the Top Brass Bullet for use on their black tank flush ? I have a dedicated black tank flush hose that I currently use it’s 50ft and I’m thinking of trying a pocket hose that is easier to mange and doesn’t take up as much space.
I’ve also...
Hello all,
Last weekend while attempting to drain the black tank on my 2014 Silverback I managed to break off the cable about 6" in from the handle. Luckily the valve was left partially open when the cable broke. I have been having problems opening the tank valve since we bought the coach. I...
The rest area black water waste dumps here in Washington have a suspended water hose on a timer for rinsing the area, but they don't have hose threads, and they're often a smaller diameter than your average water hose. My TT black water tank has a flush fitting with hose threads, and I'm...
Our sensors in the black tank will not go below 1/3 full, even after emptying. It will then go quickly to 3/4, even tho it isn't. My husband times how long it takes to empty and it isn't long. So we KNOW it isn't 3/4. We have filled it with water and put a solution purchased at RV store in...
Does anyone know who makes the black holding tank for the coachmen prism line? There appears to be a name on it, but I cannot quite read it. I can see it just fine, but it is very blurry in the molding. There is a "QAI" stamp on it and what appears to be a manufacturers name below that. It...
2017 coachman leprechaun 260DS Black tank leaks when it get up to the level where the flush goes into the tank. I have been told the fitting that hooks the flush hose to the tank is pressed in with a flange on the back to keep it in. Anybody know how to get this fitting out and how to get a new...
Hello All.

I get back to my camper about 2 weeks later, and now I have a strong Black Tank smell when I flush the toilet.
This is new as it was not there when I left the camper previously...it happened in a 2 week span while I was away.
I've flushed the Black...
I keep reading how easy it is to replace the seals or valve on the black tank but no one actually posts pictures or gives DETAILED step by step.
I've posted 2 pics of my Sunseeker waste system from 2 different angles looking up (at least they are exposed). In trying to replace the valve I have...
My black tank sensors started first reading 1/3 and last week 2/3 full after dumping the black tank. Ordered valterra master blaster tank wand.
Connected to water hose and held toilet valve open with my foot and lowered wand inside tank. Turned on water and rinsed driver side tank wall. Rinsed...
Does anyone have an idea how to replace vacuum check valve on sewer flush line. There is no access panel and it's a guess at the height of it. I can see where they up. 2013 cardinal 3550
My wife and I have been RV'ers since the late nineties and have owned eleven rv's including three class A's, three fifth wheels and we just bought our fifth travel trailer
Our first outing in our "New To Us" 2014 The Vibe 6504 was a two day stay in a park about an hour from our home...
We have question about odors from the black tank at times after using toilet. We have a 2018 Palomino Compass and have been told that it is OK to use Pine Sol in tanks as an odor control. We were also told that Rid Ex is OK too but I have my doubts and wanted some advice from the FROG community.
Has anyone figured out a practical way to move grey water to the black tank?
After 2 month on the road I find the black tank will have a lot of space and the grey is full.
:trink39:
Funny question, but maybe not. Do you use the same hose you use for fresh water when you use the black tank hose flush? Was wondering if there is any recommendation and back flush issues? Thanks - Karl
Help needed to find Black Tank Rinse leak and anti-siphon valve
Im in the same boat (no pun intended) evidently as many others, SO, maybe some one can help find my anti siphon valve on a 2019 GeoPro G19FD.
I emailed the factory and the dealer:
I was rinsing my black water tank last weekend...
Our Freedom Express has a black tank flush valve that is right below the city clean water connection. When I check under the sink, the two water lines seem to connect. How does this black tank flush take this to the toilet tank when there is a common line connection inside the RV? I get that...
Been reading some posts and saw where someone suggested using a pressure regulator on Black Water Flush system? I totally understand why you would use this on your City Water Supply, to never over pressure your plastic lines or blow any fittings on the plastic trailer plumbing. However, seems to...
I own an older 2004 Georgetown 326DS. I have owned it for almost 7 years. In the last year or so I noticed my Grey Tank/Blank Tank storage seems to have changed a bit. First, my Black Tank flush stopped working...I think. So experimenting a bit I have noticed that my toilet, kitchen sink and...
I have a small, about 1" crack in my black tank. It's way up high so it's only a problem if I let the tank get to full. It's in a difficult location, right on the trailing end corner where the tank sits on a piece of angle iron but it's accessible. I tried some of the "seen on TV" flex seal...
Is there a schematic available for the 2015 DX3? When I try to use it, I am getting a leak of clean water into the service area.
Edit: This is not a high pressure issue, the first time I tried this I had a regulator on the system at 40psi, the dialed that down to 20 and still had water...
I have a river stone 5th wheel with 1-1/2 baths. I understand that means two black tanks. One valve in control panel department. Is ther a second valve to do please the 2nd tank and is so where in the heck is it. Help
In our 2007 Navion, the toilet and bathroom sink both drained to the black tank. I know by code, the toilet and one other drain can (and should) drain to the black tank. I failed to ask about this when shopping and at PDI and just assumed the bathroom sink in our GT5 also drained to the black...
