Has anyone added an additional outer latch on the other side of the murphy bed? We added a memory foam topper and want to add an additional latch. So far, haven't found one that is spring loaded that would work.

Does anyone have the dimensions handy for the space to the left of the bed in a 22RBS? Trying to see if we could fit a small toddler floor mattress there. Or even the dimensions of the bedside table would give me an idea of the width. Thank you!!!
