I prefer the windows in the sides of the slide-out. It allows more light on the inside of the coach.

Rear axles further back is better for those heavy stacker trailer tongue weights. If the rear axles are too far forward, the tongue weight would un-weight the front axle too much. If they're further back, the rear swing when turning is reduced ... but the turning radius is also increased

They are popular with trucking purposes that deal with heavy loads where they pick up cargo capacity due to the lower weight of the super singles. In SoCal, you frequently see them on liquid tanker trucks and garbage hauling rigs.

I looked into the cost of these paint jobs and like others, quickly found the cost to be pretty high for nothing more than glitz ($12K to 35K). Plus straight white ages better, is easier to keep cool in the desert sun, and doesn't show the dirt at the sand dunes. I currently have all white on...

Personally, I think most motorhome paint jobs, and even some of the white ones with extensive graphics are a bit much. The following vehicle has graphics more in line with my taste. Anything more is a bit too gaudy.

BTW, anyone know who made this rig? It looks like the rear axles are proportioned well for front to rear weight distribution. What is this, a 30' unit?

I have rollers on the back of my Exiss trailer. They are about three inches in diameter and about eight inches wide. These work extremely well and don't hang down any further than necessary to function properly.

How about NRC's? On these others, how about utility hook up arrangement, storage box construction/finish, and typical power inverter/converter system design?

I used the same material to line the generator compartment to reduce noise and repel heat. If you need more of the foil tape, Home Depot carries it.

I had the benefit of having a friend who bought his first. I was able to see his up close before plunking down a deposit.

If you can, go with 16" wheels, they seem to have less problems than the run of the mill 15" wheels (don't know the weight you're planning to carry but you can get load range E's for 16"ers).
