    Does TruckConversion.net have sponsors?

Hmmm, This sort of fits a few questions I have as well like who runs the forum and how many members? I followed the "contact us" and it goes to something called www.IRV2.com. I saw some familiar names on that forum as well as topics about our type coaches. Curious??? Bob

Thanks for all the pics and thread. Noticed a Cascadia with a visor. Does anyone know where they are sold? Bob

    Dynomax Grandsport 36 for Sale

Hi all, I have a buddy of mine in Thousand Oaks California that is selling his Dynomax Grandsport 36 built on a Freightliner Columbia. He is moving up in size. I can personally attest to the care and cleanliness this coach has had. Garage kept and well maintained, it is a win for anyone...

rv.net did it again, I can't believe it

Hi Bob, Been traveling, so I have not been up on the forum. I certainhly do not recall anything you said that might be an issue. Maybe it was mentioning the other forums to me that got their shorts in a knot. I have to agree with Doc that I am sort of done with all the other forums...

    Weather Tracker Software

This is a sort of funny story with a cool product ending. Wendy and I were visiting friends in Topeka in early spring. At dinner, the clouds outside began to look terrible. Our friend with the Topeka sense of humor terrified us that a major tornado was looming. Returning to the coach, we...

What is the brand and model of your CB/Weather Alert radio. I have a friend that is a Storm Chaser that is pretty savvy on the weather side. He may have some ideas. Bob

    Tank Sensors

It does seem that the SeeLevel product is the only simple reliable choice. I went to their website and see that they have a sale going on, so I ordered the 4 tank version and will figure out how and where to mount it when it arrives. It is normally $375, but is on sale for $235. I am...

OK, you guys are not helping. I am looking for a technical solution. Bob

    cb antenna

I am a geek and somewhat familiar with rf stuff. The major thing that you have to do with any CB is to make sure the antennas are tuned. Cobra radios have an alert if they are out of tune. It is usually a red led that comes on when you transmit. Sometimes marked TX error or alert. Our coach...

    cb antenna

LOL! I bet they do look good and you can change them out depending on the holiday! We actually did not screw the Plexi down, we used some of that nasty foam tape. Worked great! Easy is always better...I would stay with the red balls as well! Bob

Bob, not sure if we successfully hijacked this thread, but both are kits. The GT40 is an Australian DRB and the Cobra a Factory Five. Ironically both are a lot better cars than the originals design wise. As well, Lucas Prince of Darkness does not plague the kits like he did the...

    cb antenna

My friends is as well. The bracket mounts to the underside of the overhang for the bunk section and sticks out to the side about 1/3rd up the antenna. His antenna is one of the coiled fiberglass types and the pass-through hole is about .250" larger than the OD of the antenna. It supports it...

The vet is a Grand Sport that belongs to a buddy of mine. Sad to say that yellow thing is an unfinished GT40. I have a Factory Five Cobra that is finished and very cool though. I gues everyone should have an unfinished project

    Tank Sensors

Hi All, Love everything about our ShowHauler except....The tank sensors have been a problem from day one. Always showing full or erratic. Had it back to ShowHauler and all of us threw up our hands. Tried everything from tanks cleaners to Coca Cola. So it looks like new sensors or a new...

    Finding nice campgrounds?

Hi Bob, We use Big Rig Best Bets as well because they have a rating for 45' motor coaches. I also joined Woodalls Diamond Club (Free) because they have a big rig search category. Always, no matter, I use Google Earth to checkout entry and exit as well as the park insides. BTW, RV Park Reviews...

    cb antenna

Hi Ed, I have a Cascadia that had similar problems because the body mount antennas were too close to the overhang. Mine was solved with two trangular foam wedges slipped over the antenna at the contact points. The triangular shape helped with the aero effect and the foam eliminated the slap...

Hi All, I am new to the forum at the invitation of Bob866ZZ4. I have been trying to start something on other forums like FMCA because I could not seem to find like minded freaks until now. This all started when I attended the FMCA convention and was told by a number of "Class A Only" RV...

Oh oh, I started some trouble on behalf of truck conversions

Look at it this way. All your trouble making created a new member for this forum. So thanks for the information and invitation. As you know, I had a similar reaction at FMCA, RV.net and Good Sam! Mine was not as nasty as yours, but none-the-less equally offing. Good news is that I seem to...

    Bigfoot Levelers

High Gene, New to the forum and I noticed your post as I was doing my initial lurk. I had a similar biggfoot problem that was getting worse. Mostly one leg would be slightly off the ground when it was done on auto. The reset stopped working, so I reprogrammed the system by going to manual...
