For the longest time Haulmark was part of Wells Cargo trailer. We looked at them but ended up with NRC as they would build what we wanted. I don't know for sure but phone Jerry at NRCMods (Middlebury) and see if he can help you.

Can a Class 8 truck be registered as an rv in Texas. I know if you have certain amenities eg bathroom, sink, fridge etc it can be reclassified but a bare truck?

Sorry haven't checked in lately. VRT Enterprises near Middlebury makes the hitch and ball mounts you were looking for. Also do many of the frame modifications for the local truck conversion companies. Funny enough they are also into porti potties rentals lol.

Those are nasty for sure. Just replaced my 9 year old 66000 mile Michelin-no checks or cracks, interior looks good but not worth the chance. Installed 8 new Michelin XDN2's-looks good. Hopefully get as good as service with these as the previous ones.

Yeah well I am not giving BlueOx money for a replacement every 5 years. Will have to look alternate tow bars or maybe time to get a stacker and take all the toys.

Wow, glad to hear everything is okay. I got exactly the same tow bar, so keep us informed on what you find. Any chance the tow bar was damaged by backing up the toad? Maybe I should start towing the toad on a trailer at least that I can back up.

NRC uses TRC transfer switches. The 41260 failed after 4 years and after talking to the factory reps I installed a TRC40350RVC. This one has better surge protection and less problems than the 41260. As with everything else though, with enhanced quality come higher cost.

Got an 11KW Kubota diesel, skid mounted with a Stamford gen head. Used it when I had my service truck and when I did my conversion, I wouldn't have received as much credit as I assumed so I had them install a new Onan in its place. Interested?

Keep us in the loop. I am planning Alaska for next year and will either flat tow or trailer our Jeep. I think I may lean toward trailering my toad in the future, being that I can back up and have better paint protection with a trailer than flat towing.

I installed the Roadmaster Brakemaster for both the Wrangler and 2010 Silverado. Why complicate the system, I got air brakes on truck so why not have an air actuator for the toad brakes. No electrical charge line, just basic wiring and simple in and out for the cylinder.

18000 lb front axle with 365/70R22.5 Michelin tires. Actually replaced the stock springs with a custom rearced 20000 lb pack thta actually won't sag over time.

My 43 ft NRC full of fuel, water, both holding tanks, food and bride came in at 17400 front and 26600 rear for a totl of 44000 lbs. Jeep weighs 4400lbs. C15 with 550hp and 1850ftlbs pulls all hills just fine.

Usually the air ride is not used when a conversion is done. Quadra disconnected mine while it was there getting stretched and levelers. I don't notice a rough ride since the conversion, probably due the long wheelbase.

Yes there has been problems in the past, are they corrected to date-why not phone the manufacturer and discuss. NRC answer to the possibility is to rivet the panels plus tape them. Of course there is no problem with Chariot or Renegade because they use a one piece wall-hmmmm
