    Tag hitch to gooseneck insert

Here is a hitch insert I've built to haul my open gooseneck behind my motorhome. Back in June I upgraded from a toterhome to a motorhome, and I needed a way to haul my trailers. We mud race and bogg our trucks and atvs and use a large open trailer. I still have to make a way to attach safety...

    new build

What type of gooseneck trailer are you pulling? If it is an enclosed trailer you need more room. If it's an open gooseneck you don't need much. I am building a hitch similar to this in the picture. I'm going to pull an open gooseneck on a bumper pull hitch.

Outdoor Kitchen - Please share photos if you have them.

I use a blackstone grill for cooking and I bought a small folding sink table(used for cleaning fish, sold on amazon) i set these up outside and use a second hose for the sink. Both the table and the grill fold up and go in one of my storage bins.

    Campgrounds along the gulf coast

Looking for a new place to visit along the gulf coast of Florida. Wanting something that's right on the beach, and has a lot of things for kids. Twin 13 yr old boys, lol! Anybody have any suggestions? Maybe even something that will fit a 65 foot long setup?

Researching the purchase of a Toter

I looked at garage units before I bought my latest renegade. The biggest drawback that I saw was that most of the garage units do not have a large hitch, most just had what looked like a 2 inch receiver. Two rigs on a 32 foot trailer would be a load on a 2 inch receiver.

Researching the purchase of a Toter

2 in the over bunk, 2 on an air bed in the slide out couch, and 1 on a jackknife sofa, about 5 adults max, 4 worked better.

Researching the purchase of a Toter

I think most states are 65 feet max, some out west are 75. In my pic above we were right at 76 feet bumper to bumper. We hauled from nc to Florida and back with no problems. But you honestly never know, we had a few dot officers pull up beside the rig and take a look but we were never stopped...

Researching the purchase of a Toter

There is a good deal on a 17 foot renegade on racing junk for $84k, if I were you I would go with a freightliner Columbia cab with a Mercedes and auto. They hold their value and seem to be the norm for most toterhomes. I had a 16 foot 2004 renegade, but I needed more room and upgraded to a 28...

Members On the road, where are you now?

Camped out at ocean lakes at surf side beach in South Carolina, first trip in the new motorhome. Still getting used to all this space! Going from a 16 foot toter to a 28 foot motorhome is a big upgrade!

    how thick

I like your shelf in the storage unit, these bins are so tall it's easy to loose small stuff.

    how thick

What if you took some 12x12 inch flat plate steel, say a 1/2 inch thick and welded it to the feet on the stabilizers? No more messing with the wood, unless you needed more height. The only problem would be if you sank them in something like sand, then you could be really stuck?

    Hydraulic leveling questions

I will check all the books, I probably have the one for the leveling system. I was curious how strong it is, would it lift the front or rear tires off the ground to fix a flat? The previous owner said he used it to lift the rear off the ground, bt wasn't sure about the front.

    My new 2006 renegade 2800bm

The oven looks like it has never been used. The engine is a Mercedes mbe4000, 450hp with the 12 spd. One thing i noticed is that it doesn't have an emergency start for the generator and the owners manual said that the house batteries have an isolator from the chassis batteries, also the...

    My new 2006 renegade 2800bm

One of the main things I wanted was a large over bunk with the windows. My last renegade had the extended height, but was a small over bunk. This one has tons of room. It had an odd tv cabinet with the old school sony TV sets, I replaced them with 32 inch smart flat screens. You can still see...

    Fuel MPG

No, I looked at his inventory on line and they were over my budget. I found mine on racing junk, it was only posted for 2 days when I found it. I feel like I of a really good deal. It was a one owner with only 26k miles, and was kept indoors. It only needed a really good cleaning and update the...
