    04 Haulmark Restore Project

man I HATE the crappy wallpaper job....htey couldn't even butt the seams together, where they ran out they just put a strip over it to fill the gap! Seeing this makes me wonder if I even want to bother pulling ours off.

Researching the purchase of a Toter

we do this at the track I occasionally pull a buddies car trailer & have used it for over flow lodging, or more comfortable sleeping for folks that didn't account for sleeping in a non-air conditoned tent...In the heat and humidity. ....we added LED strip lighting in the trailer and a 15k BTU...

    Family Truckster

makes sense. ours was built/equipped with similar driver/passenger lighting (over each seat) - one white & one red (separate push to activate lens'). We also have (factory equipped) RED floor lighting which can be activated by a dash switch....Ive converted the floor lighting to RED LED...

Why not just Screw Firing Strip (or something similar) to hold the boards in place, its a lot less permanent than welding ;) personally I have enough stuff crammed into the bins to help hold everything in place.

Thanks! I agree the bins are HUGE and w/out a shelf things just get piled on top of each other....and it would seem the thing you need 1st or the most is always on the bottom of the pile. I THINK we actually GAINED storage with the shelfs - instead of having things heaped on top of each other...

Sam - heres (poor quality) picture of some of the contents of my rear most storage/bin - you can see the 3/4 inch plywood "jack pads" turned on their end for storage. Ill try to get a better picture in the next couple of days.

I carry about 16 of the 3/4 inch plywood squares (stored on the edge) in my (rear most) storage bay (curb/passenger side).... I keep a tool box, hoses & grill in the same (large) basement bay. I'll get a picture for ya.

    how thick

in soft soil or warm asphalt (and even on concrete) i use 3/4 inch (marine grade) plywood... I cut the plywood in 15x15 inch squares and have screwed several squares together...this serves a couple of purposes - 1) is spreads the load to prevent sinking or punch through 2) it increases the...

    Hydraulic leveling questions

i have had our coach off the ground ENTIRELY, using our levelers - in fact i do it each time i put it in storage (to prevent flat spotting of the tires). I have lifted a corner or 3 off the ground to change tires and or rotate tires. an important thing to remember - when PARKED the parking...

    Hydraulic leveling questions

google the instructions / manufactures site - if you DONT already have the instructions. As Bob says, there is a method to ZERO or reset the level (if its off) - I did it to mine. its NOT necessary to dump the air, the self-leveling (air bags) will balance themselves. our slide operation is...

    FASTER: Water Tank Fill

For sometime I've been annoyed about the time it takes to fill our fresh water tanks....I built a filler some time ago but broke the cap and BOUGHT one later. I was changing the end to reduce the strain on the filler & discovered a flow limiter in the filler line. when I pulled it apart to...

40k lb Bumper Hitch convert to Gooseneck

I have a (red) brake buddy (was brand new, used 2 times, with the bag and remote) that i picked up on craigslist for $200 bucks - but honestly i only use it to try and limit potential/personal liability (proof that i take every reasonable step possible). I use it more for the BRAKE AWAY set up...

    I get a "DO OVER! "

I'm curious....how much was the tow? i ran a set of (rear) tires 7+ yrs beyond the mfg production date, they never showed any signs of (vertical) fracturing and i had 10s of 1000s of miles on 'em...I can't remember if the rears were BFG or GoodYears. I had a set of Michelins on the steers that...

    I get a "DO OVER! "

cork is hypoallergenic and won't harbor bacteria (great in kitchens)...and I SUSPECT (more importantly in this case) is that it is a good sound deadener.
