I don't have a truck (yet), but have been told by some pretty reliable sources that you can figure $1500 to about $1800 to single out a truck. Singling short would be the best for maneuverability and long for a better ride. The decision is up to you, but keep in mind that a long wheel base can overload the steering axle quite easily.
