You're sure you can't get the senders screwed on? My inner drives were kind of hard to get the senders on but I managed. I was able to get them going and then to snug them down I used a large needle nose pliers with a funky tubing remover jaw thingy. I could barely get it through the slot in the rim but it worked. Just be careful not to squeeze it too tight and crack the sender. I'm leery of those valve extenders. Seems like a leak possibility.
