hi guys -

we are looking at doing a conversion, but have always been looking at a non-sleeper model.

it seems like when you "convert" the sleeper section you end up with 2 sofa/sleeper units that face each other w/o too much useable space there - kind of just like a "pass-through area" or tunnel going to the cab.

plus, it also takes away square footage from the main body of the conversion. we have been looking at a 30' conversion on a day cab and a sleeper would add another ?' to the 40'/41' overall length

do any of you have an idea of how to use the space differently?

thanks!

gil

ps - we like the way the haulmark units have the cut-out on the top of the cab so you dont have to worry about leaning over so much to go from the conversion into the cab.

can you just cut off part of the sleeper section so you still have a "walk-in" into the cab and use the rest of the removed sleeper section as a regular conversion.

Gil,
See my post on the other thread. Also the cab can be cut off wherever you want it to be.
