We finalized the interior colors this morning. The couch, dinette & captain chairs will all be a tan ultra vinyl. The ultra vinyl is recommended over real leather due to it's no maintenance and better resistance to wear. To be honest I was in a rig which had just vinyl and I thought it was leather. The ultra product is softer and simulates leather even better. The carpet in the main area will be an iced mocha Berber. They use high end stain resistant carpet and Berber hides wear in tight traffic patterns much better than a regular pile carpet. The kitchen and bathroom floors will be oak hardwood along with all the cabinets, trim and valances. The cabinets & trim will be slighter darker than natural oak. The walls will be a very light tan wall board vs. a fabric wall. The fabric tends to hold odors and can stain. Again looking for a very rugged, but yet classy interior. The last item we still need to decide is the Formica counter top color. They use Wilsonart so I am going to look at Lowes to come up with a coordinating color.
So we are rolling along and hopefully by the end of next week the steel cage will be completed.
