Total trip was 1,170 miles, 585 each way. It took us 9 1/2 hours down and exactly 9 hours on the return trip. Remember I have a speed limitor which is set at 68 mph. So if you do some calculating you'll notice we did not stop but for a few minutes to give me a little break. This thing is a dream to drive! I did not keep track of milage, but did put 138 gallons in at a TA in Ky at 1.29 per gallon, my guage is way off, because it was reading 1/4 tanks.
At the rally, I lost count on how many people came through the rig, but it was over 65. I would say out of those at least 3 will probably look at truck conversions seriously as their next rig.
On Thursday a Renegade came in with a stacker trailer. It was a dealer who was a big vette fan and in for the corvette convetion they had in Nashville. He was in a 98 26'on a FL112. I am so glad Show Hauler does not have the solid SS on the lower half of the rig. Man that is some major polish to keep it looking good and when you go through the rain it looks like crap. My 6" peice will be hard enough to keep clean. One thing I noticed on the 98 was that they piped the exaust out at the entry door of the motorhome which doesn't seem to be very good idea.
Anyway, the trip was great and I am looking forward to heading out to Chicago on Wednesday.
