Living in MN we need to leave our rigs parked for the winter months. I keep mine indoors at 45 degree. This is my first rig with air bag suspension. Thinking it might be better to pop a couple of jack stands under the frame back there and dump the air bags for the winter? I'm also planning on emptying out the air tanks and leave them open so they don't stay wet inside? Is this a bad idea?

Doc, 45 degrees is cold?! hahahahha. I'm thinking just for storage leaving them deflated. Before moving the rig they would have to be aired up again for sure.

Bob, I have two KW T2000's that sat outside all last winter in the Michigan cold and had no problems. I would start them up and move them around once a month. They are still just tractors, so they don't have the weight of a conversion on them, but the biggest problem I had was the rear brakes hanging up from sitting. My plan is to convert one once I sell the other, but this sluggish truck market is not helping me out.
