I had posted a few pictures of my Toterhome in progress. I was hoping to get the opinions of you guys on how to help improve the look of the truck.

I was offered a nice set of used wheels in a different post, ("hub pilot" style with the freightliner saw blade design) that I am very interested in buying. (That is, if they will work on my International) Can anyone help here?

What about other options that you guys suggest that might help improve the external looks. I was wondering about the availability of chrome fuel tanks, and bumper, but am to new to this to know where to look.

I purchased the truck in basically the condition shown and would greatly appreciate any suggestions. I want to get all of the ATP back in shiny condition, and was wondering what most of you guys use. The top deck and steps are all ATP as well as floor in my trailer. I want to clean and polish them both up to look good. What is best to use here.

Thanks again for the great websites. I think it might become one of my favorites for sure. Tons of information!!! I was going to sell my toter, actually right up to the day I found this site.

there are only two styles of 10-lug bigrig rims:
rims that are centered by the lug nuts (conical seat on the nuts) or hub pilots (flat "washer" lug nuts; the rim is centered on the hub by the big center hole)

to polish aluminum check with your local fire department; they are experts

just kidding; a Firefighter friend told me that nothing beats a product called "Whatashine" (sp?) . he told me he will bring me a bottle for our Pete.....(im still waiting

IMHO your rig has too much white; how about sticking thin sheat of Stainless onto the storage covers (a friend with a CNC laser or waterjet cutter would make that realy easy)
you could cut them to size and stick them on with 3M UHB two sided tape.
if you know somebody with a brake/bender (i have a "soft radius" brake/bender for ATP but i guess im too far away)i would bend up a ATP plate that covers the steps/tank with a cutout for the gas cap.
i would also add a SS cab visor (here in AZ with a bright clear sky and lots of sun its a "must have" anyway)
some more lights (not too much to look gaudy

) nice LEDs side markers and some LED step lights

...just some ideas

I was told that I needed a wheel that was a uni-lug style if that makes any sense. I am very interested in getting the 4 sawblade style wheels if you still have them for sale, and if they will work on my truck. Please let me know and any idea on shipping?

We have very few places here that are capable of doing the SS work that you were referring to. I agree that the truck needs some more shine as well. The fuel tank area is the most needed area of improvement in my opinion. The stainless on the boxes would also look great if I can find someone to cut the pieces for me. Thanks for the info, and I look forward to hearing back from you.

Thanks,
Marshall
