Im not much of an advocate for single purpose GPS's these days...especially
when you consider what a "smart phone" can to with the WAZE app (real time re-routing & alerting based on data provided by other users).

but this Dezl unit from Garmin had some pretty cool "trucker" type features (including custom input of vehicle dimensions and truck specific POI's)

they even have an option to add a wireless (backup?) camera

We got the RV version for safety so when traveling we don't get routed where we can't fit. 13' 6" can be a pain hitting trees, utility lines in residential streets etc. We went under one freeway overpass that said 13' 7" and fit. We were a bit nervous. The RV versions should have more RV parks and you can filter them.

The weight limit warnings are a pain. Tight curve warning seem random. Grade and speed limit notices are nice when cruising.

im 13' 1" and w/ the exception of one low overhang (at the Virginia Tech Executive Airport) we've never encountered a height issue....that one encounter was expensive (and i highly recommend gorilla duct tape now).

I still set and use our Garmin Nuvi 3790 (w/ life time maps & FM Traffic sensor)...but nothing comparing to a Smart Phone w/ WAZE imo.
