The reason for the streetside door is because this particular ex-trailer (actually a 5th-wheel) is turned back-to-front on the truck chassis. The space under the (former)hitch is walled in to create storage space. Kinda hokey, but I guess it works for them. I might have been the one who mentioned the use of a travel trailer for these rigs. Pretty much describes the quality(?!?!?!?)construction, huh?
Oh- I also heard that they get their coaches in incomplete form from Forest River, then modify according to customer wishes. These poor saps actually think they're getting a high-end rig!!!
