I've got a 2001 Century class freightliner with an '06 Showhauler on it. The truck was refurbed by Freightliner and I want to install a CB radio. I found the splitter box behind the dash where the antenna leads go into and there are 3 outputs. 1 for the AM/FM radio and 2 others. I assume one for phone ??? and one for the CB. The question is, is one of these for the CB and if so why is the connector for the small diam. coax cable. Any help is appreciated. Thx, Dave...

Does your unit have the antennas mounted already?

I found my wires in the over head console. Don't know if it's the same.

Yes, the antennas are mounted. I found a coax cable in the overhead but it has the small coax connector (as you would use on a TV) so I wasn't sure if it is the correct one ?? thx, Dave.....

hmm mine was the larger one that goes right into the CB. Behind your dash can you unsfrew it take it to a shop, bet they would have an adapter of sorts...
