Hi,
I am new to the motorhome world. We just purchased a 42' freightliner legend motorhome. I would like some info on where to get a cover for it so the sun does not destroy it. I am not sure if you have to have these custom made or if a company already makes them? Thanks in advance !

I think you're going to need something custom. Are there any yacht dealers or marinas near you? Up here in MN most of the yachts come out of the water in the winter and they sometimes have covers they put over them. I suspect it would be quite the job to put a cover on and off. Where are you going to park it? Is it at all possible to build a roof over it? That would for sure be much easier. Might not even be much, if any, more expensive than a cover.

Congratulations on the new purchase! Looking forward to finding out more about it and seeing the pictures.

Yes plenty of marinas locally so I will check. Building something actually is not a bad idea either ! Thanks for the advice !

i would think a <canvas> cover is gonna be a real pain.
i think youd probably be better off w/ a car port, even if it didnt have sides.

I would think a cover for a class A of the same overall length would work, it would just be droopy over the cab area. At least an off the shelf cover would be reasonable as compared to something custom.

camping world has both stock and custom covers:
